Given that the Warriors recently signed veteran point guard Chris Paul, there is a lot of speculation regarding how Stephen Curry and his new-look Warriors will do next season. But, for the time being, the four-time NBA champion is focusing on his signature brand with Under Armour (NYSE:UAA -1.77%), as he has recently announced the return of his “Back to Back MVP” footwear bundle. The capsule was first released in 2016 to commemorate the sharpshooter’s consecutive MVP awards, one of which he was dubbed the first-ever unanimous MVP winner.
The Under Armour Curry 1 and Curry 2 were decorated with championship-inspired golden embellishments in the two-shoe collection. The former features a white, black, and gold upper with various career-inspired stats and mottos related to Curry, while the latter features a more sleek gold-to-black gradient base layer and gold detailing across the UA logos, “MVP” tongue hits, and speckled midsoles.
These classic kicks will be packaged in distinctive double-sliding boxes and will be available on June 30 through select Under Armour outlets and Curry Brand.
In other developments, the first trailer for Stephen Curry’s documentary Underrated has been released on Apple TV+.
