Bayern Munich is considering a major summer transfer for a Liverpool star

There is interest in another Liverpool mainstay, so those three are not the only prominent players who might be leaving at the end of the current campaign.

According to The Sun, one of Bayern’s top choices to succeed Manuel Neuer when he retires in 2019 is the goalie from Brazil.

After suffering from injury issues for the past two seasons, Neuer will turn 39 before the season ends. He is currently 38 years old.

Although he made just 12 Bundesliga appearances in the 2022–2023 season and 23 during the previous campaign, the renowned German goalie is still first choice.It is unclear if the veteran will remain with the team after his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

 

Key player hints at leaving Liverpool in the future - Anfield Central

Giorgi Mamardashvili, the goalkeeper, has already reached an agreement with Liverpool to join Anfield in the summer after moving from Valencia.

The 24-year-old Georgian international is still playing in Spain this season, but when he moves to Merseyside the following year, he intends to challenge for a spot in the starting lineup of Liverpool.

Alisson’s deal at Anfield expires in2027, so even though he turns 32 this month, any interested team would still have to pay a high price to get him. Liverpool spent £66.8 million for him in 2018.
