A young boy who delightfully mocks his new stepfather for not being a billionaire has gone popular on TikTok.
At his mother Alysa’s wedding to her longterm partner, Tony, earlier this year, 12-year-old Jake Milton served as best man and was charged with giving a funny speech.
The young man spoke at the open-air gathering in Essex, England, and posted his message to social media, where as of Wednesday afternoon, it had had over 1.5 million views.
“Tony, I can’t imagine how my life would have turned out had mom met someone else all those years ago — maybe Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos,” Jake humorously stated at the outset of his speech. “Just someone rich, basically. For god’s sake, Tony, why do you have to be a police officer?”
The crowd gasped in ᵴuгргιᵴe at Jake’s jokes, but it was evident that he was simply lovingly making fun of Tony as he went on to list off all of their good times together.
“With that being said, I don’t think Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos would wake up at 6 o’clock in the morning to watch a four-hour-long superhero film with me,” the youngster stated, looking lovingly at Tony. “Nor would they let me watch Stephen King’s ‘It’ when I was only 7.”

The tween took to the microphone at the outdoor event in Essex, England. His hilarious speech later went viral on TikTok.

“Tony, I can’t imagine how my life would have turned out had mom met someone else all those years ago — maybe Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos,” Jake said in his cheeky speech.

“I don’t think Jeff Bezos would have the talents to make a Halloween costume in ten minutes that was so bloody brilliant that it made a 4-year-old boy weep and caused the person in the care home window to have a heart attack,” Jake added.
Musk “would not have spent three hours at the park teaching me how to exploit my stature and strength in a football match,” the nostalgic preteen continued.

Tony was the butt of Jake’s jokes, but he enjoyed being affectionately trolled by his new stepson.

Tony and Jake clearly have a close relationship, with the tween’s speech balancing both genuine attention and playful teasing.

But Jake’s mockery of Tony wasn’t ended; the cheeky British comically remarked that his life would have been more opulent if his mother had wed either Musk or Bezos.
He said, “If Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk were my stepdad, I’d have a king-size bed with a television sticking out the bottom.” And I’d have a monthly stipend of £100,000, In my supercar, I would be moving about. Actually, now that I think about it, I’m not a driver. I’d have a chauffeur, so it wouldn’t matter.
The child’s speech, however, ended on a touching note as he turned to face his new stepdad and said, “In the end, though, I would have all this stuff but I wouldn’t have Tony. And my mother would marry a terribly ugly new guy.
The address won the hearts of TikTok viewers by balancing sincere compassion with funny mockery.
“He gets the award for Best Best Man Speech in History. What a fantastic young man,” gushed one supporter.

“Sounds like Jake and Tony are going to be keeping you on your toes,” one viewer wrote to bride Alysa.
