BTS’s Jungkook reached Top trending thanks to new record

Specifically, Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s collaboration song ”  Left And Right  ” won the People’s Choice Awards in the category of Collaborative Song of 2022.

Thereby, the youngest member of BTS is currently the first and only K-pop/Korean solo artist in history to win an award at the People’s Choice Awards.

Billboard  magazine commented, “BTS’ Jungkook won Collaboration Song of the Year 2022 for his standout vocals in  Left And Right  with Charlie Puth. That daring collaboration debuted and peaked at number one. 22nd on the Billboard Hot 100″.

Immediately after the above record, many keywords including “Congratulations Jungkook”, “Jungkook Paved The Way”, “Jungkook1stWin” and “The Collaboration Song Of 2022” became trending on Twitter as fans were celebrate Jungkook’s victory.

The People’s Choice Awards is an American awards program that recognizes characters and works in popular culture, voted for by the general public. The award ceremony has been held annually since 1975 and is currently one of the most famous awards in the United States.

Jeon Jung Kook (born 1997), better known by his stage name Jungkook, is a South Korean male singer and songwriter. He is the youngest member and the main vocalist of the South Korean boy band BTS.

BTS “holds” 3 awards at People’s Choice Awards 2022

The People’s Choice Awards 2022 was officially held in California (USA). In it, BTS once again proved themselves as the “King of K-Pop” when bringing home 3 major awards.

Specifically, at this year’s awards ceremony, BTS won in 3 categories: Group of the Year, Tour of the Year and Collaboration of the Year. Notably, this is the 3rd year in a row since 2020 that 7 Korean boys won in the category of Group of the Year. This also proves the strong attraction of BTS globally in recent years.

About the Collaboration of the Year award, this is actually an individual award for Jungkook and Charlie Puth with the song ”  Left & Right”.  Thus, Jungkook also became the first K-Pop solo artist to be honored with an individual award at the People’s Choice Awards.
