Chelsea is about to get a striker who couldn’t be more appropriate?

Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea's coach, recently made startling revelations about the club's shopping situation, despite the fact that the summer transfer window is only about three weeks away

Coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed Chelsea’s intention to strengthen the squad in the final days of the transfer window during a press conference before the London derby against Tottenham this weekend. This is especially important given that they have lost two strikers this summer, Lukaku and Werner, and rookie Kalidou Koulibaly has had muscle problems and had to leave the 1-0 win over Everton last weekend.

Coach Tuchel, on the other hand, insists that Chelsea will only sign the best players available rather than spending money in the final days of the summer market to bolster the squad.

“We can still add to the squad’s depth. It is something that everyone desires, but it is not always possible. The team is looking for names with high quality and appropriate personality.

Chelsea are not perplexed and will not bring in names that we are not completely convinced of. So far, all of the new signings have been fantastic and will greatly benefit the team.”

According to ESPN, the Blues are currently interested in three players, including Wesley Fofana of Leicester City and Barcelona duo Frenkie de Jong and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Notably, when asked about the situation of negotiating the aforementioned goals, coach Tuchel refused to discuss players from other teams, instead mentioning only Aubameyang. As a result, the German teacher revealed that the two have had a good working relationship since they met in Dortmund.

“It would be an honor to work with him. If you’re close enough, some players are still your players. Auba is one of them in my opinion. We’ve always had a close relationship, even when I was at Chelsea and he was at Arsenal.” Tuchel, the coach, stated.

Chelsea fans are looking forward to a reunion between the two teachers and students at Stamford Bridge as a result of the German strategist’s meaningful statement. Between 2015 and 2017, the two worked together at Dortmund. Aubameyang, in particular, has made an important contribution to this club winning the DFB-Pokal 2017, which is also Thomas Tuchel’s final title at Signal Iduna Park.

Chelsea only needs to spend 25 million euros to sign Aubameyang, according to Relevo. Barcelona is also eager to sell players in order to free up salary funds to sign more rookies for the upcoming season. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tuchel believes Aubameyang is the ideal striker for Chelsea right now and is urging president Todd Boehly to sign him before the summer transfer window closes.
