Confirmed: Liverpool target to sign £26m ‘golden’ striker who blew Erling Haaland away

Youssoufa Moukoko is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world right now. The German striker is a product of the youth system at Borussia Dortmund and is making a name for himself in Europe.

Some of Europe’s top clubs, including Manchester United and Liverpool, are interested in the striker, who is still only 17 years old. The current contract of the young star expires in the summer of 2023.

Borussia Dortmund is eager to extend the talented German’s contract and has already offered him a three-year extension. Moukoko, on the other hand, is said to be waiting until his 18th birthday to make a decision about his future.

The Reds will almost certainly spend money on new players in 2023 in order to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

FSG may be willing to sell, but they will need to fund some key signings if Liverpool are to regain their form under Klopp.

Much of the focus has been on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, but one of his teammates is also on Liverpool’s radar.
