UNIQUE Usain Bolt says he doesn’t want any more kids and that having twins is “not as fun as people say” while pledging to start a new training regimen the following year since he feels “out of shape.”
Usain Bolt says he doesn’t want any more kids and that having twins “is not as fun as people say.”
The 35-year-old, eight-time Olympic gold winner said that, four years into his retirement, he feels “out of shape” and finds it difficult to exercise.
Usain, the father of Olympia Lightning, Thunder, who is one year old, and Saint Leo, who is six months old, revealed in an exclusive interview with MailOnline that he is “finished” having children because his hands are quite full.
‘I don’t want any more anymore,’ says Usain Bolt, acknowledging that having twins ‘is not as joyful as people think’. (as seen in December)
“That’s me, I’m finished; I don’t want any more,” he declared. I’m busy being a dad, but not particularly fit. My hands are constantly full and it keeps me active.
“It’s not as fun to have twins as people say!” I believe that as they become older, but not as much while they’re younger. I’m excited to watch them develop into adults.
“It was good because I spent a lot of quality time and helped out, and it was my first time being a dad, so that was cool,” the mother said of having her first child under lockdown.
The father of three, who has been together for a long time with partner Kasi Bennett, 31, said that his goal for the new year is to get back to an Olympic-level level of fitness.

‘My hands are full,’ Usain said, confirming that he is ‘done’ having children. Olympia Lightning (pictured) and Saint Leo, who are twins, are six months old.
“I try to stay fit, but it’s not as easy because you’re not as motivated as you were when you were competing in track,” he continued. Nevertheless, he made an occasional effort to work out.
We’re approaching Christmas and the New Year, so I’m going to dedicate some time to working out. I was just telling my closest friend that I really need to get back into a training program since I feel like I’m really getting out of shape now.
I need to return as close as possible to the level that I’m used to, even though I’m not horrible or nasty.
It will be challenging, but because my body and mind are accustomed to it, it will go more smoothly as long as I put in the necessary effort. It’s difficult to exercise, regardless of the program.
“I try to be healthy, but it’s difficult”: Usain, who has been dating Kasi Bennett for a long time, revealed that his goal for the new year is to go back to Olympic level fitness.
“I work with a personal trainer at home and use a Peloton, but when I’m traveling, I usually just bring a skipping rope and work out in my room. I also do abs and other exercises, depending on where I am in the world.”
The Jamaican sprinter is no stranger to having a good time; in the past, he has been seen staggering out of nightclubs after celebrating his unprecedented Olympic victory.
Usain claims he still finds time for fun even with three small children under the age of two, even though his mother helps to look after his family.
He stated: “I don’t party as much as I used to, but I still go out, especially when I’m traveling. Because they’re young, I might go out for one night.”
Since they’re still small, I have to be there to help, but as they become older, I believe we may leave them with their grandmother.
“I’ve seen that grandparents genuinely love their grandchildren more than they love their own children. When my mother calls, she says, “Oh my grandkids,” and inquires about them. She then says goodbye, and I respond, “I’m okay too, thanks for asking.”

In his illustrious resume, he has won the Olympic 100-, 200-, and 4×100-meter relays three times in a row. He is the fastest man to have ever lived.
How can an Olympian the size of Bolt keep pushing himself? Usain acknowledges that he still aspires to excellence in all he does, including becoming a successful music producer and a father.
“It’s been hard, but I started music, and that’s a new challenge for me,” he remarked. Now that I have a family, I face challenges in that regard.
I still have a lot of work to do, including charity work, working with Virgin Media and many of my sponsors, and I always have things to occupy my time. I continue to work, develop, and advance. Since I constantly want to be the greatest and do amazing things, I will always be my harshest critic.
Although I’ve considered it, I don’t think acting is for me. My life is currently taking that path because I’m becoming more interested in music and I’ve started making music, which is something I’ve always wanted to do. I released the album Country Yutes. I produced the record, but I did the beginning so you could hear my voice there.
“I’m my biggest critic,” Usain acknowledges, adding that he still aspires to excellence in all he does, including becoming a successful music producer and a father (seen in 2016).
Longtime partner Virgin Media star Usain shocked superfan Alex Jianroran last week by taking on him in an unusual online gaming challenge. Usain appeared as a 4K hologram, giving the impression that the two of them were in the same room.
The gigabit internet speeds offered by Virgin Media’s O2—which have just been extended to all 15.5 million homes in the UK—were the driving force behind the holographic technology.
‘I’m here with Virgin Media — I was just playing some games with one of my super fans,’ Usain said in clarification. They’re enthused about the new broadband that we’re pushing that was recently introduced in the UK.
We’ve shot a ton of amazing ads together over the course of our eight years or so of working together. It’s been amazing and enjoyable, and I look forward to working with them in the future.
“They have a hologram as well, which is pretty cool. We’ve just been testing the broadband and showcasing its readiness to the public.”
