“President Macky Sall received Senegalese international Sadio Mane this Thursday,” the nation’s presidency said in a statement.

Additionally, according to the Spanish newspaper AS, the hospital will be the first medical facility in the area and will service 34 villages in the Bambali area. It will offer maternity care, dental facilities, consulting rooms, and an A&E department.

“This hospital is for you, the people of Sédhiou, and it is thanks to you,” Mane stated in a statement sent to AS.Mane, a Liverpool supporter favorite, has already contributed to the financing of development projects in Bambali.

In the past, Mane has been instrumental in the construction of a store bearing his name and a secondary school.

During the off-season, Mane frequently returns to Senegal, and this summer is no exception.

Additionally, AS asserted that Mane and his associates are eager to finance additional developments in the future, such as a post office and a gas station, in the Bambali neighborhood.
