In a heartfelt five-word statement, Curtis Jones and girlfriend Saffie welcome their baby daughter

The midfielder for Liverpool, Curtis Jones, has greeted his daughter Giselle Delilah Jones, who was born on Sunday, with love.

Given that his long-term girlfriend Saffie Khan was expecting their first child and had announced the baby’s arrival on Tuesday morning, Jones had withdrew from the England team that was headed to Finland.Jones said on Instagram, expressing emotion: “Giselle Delilah Jones. 13.10.24. Our universe revolves around you.”

Since May, when they first revealed Saffie’s pregnancy through the pregnancy’s journey, which included an anniversary vacation to Paris last year, the couple has been together for a number of years.Though the exact reason for Jones’ withdrawal from the England team was unknown, many speculated that Khan’s pregnancy had something to do with it as the actress recently shared an Instagram photo with the message, “Ready for my autumn baby”.

Jones and Khan can be seen holding the child in a number of photos that they shared on social media after they got home. They have also shared photos of the newborn in the hospital.

Giselle Delilah Jones appears to have black hair, just like her parents, and is shown sporting a cardigan with the nickname “Gigi.” Jones is spotted leaving the hospital with Gigi in a doona stroller.

Jones and Khan are thought to have been secretive about their relationship for more than six years before having their first child, Giselle.Jones has withdrew from the England squad this past week, so it is uncertain if he will miss any time with the Liverpool first team. However, he should be available for this weekend’s match against Chelsea.

Following his deployment as a substitute in last week’s England loss to Greece at Wembley Stadium, Jones did not travel with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s squad to Helsinki for the match against Finland.

Jones missed the beginning of the season under Arne Slot due to injury, therefore he was not included in Carsley’s first team in September for their National League victories over Finland and Ireland. But since getting well again, the 23-year-old has performed admirably. In the Reds’ most recent game, a 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace, he started ahead of Dominik Szoboszlai.

Going forward, he’ll probably be up against Harvey Elliott and Szoboszlai for a spot in Slot’s starting midfield, with Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch holding down the other two midfield spots.
