In a private ceremony in his home Senegal, ex-Liverpool player Sadio Mane weds his ‘long-term girlfriend’

The 31-year-old Mane will lead Senegal at this month’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. He plays for Al-Nassr.

The ex-Bayern Munich player, however, has tied the wedding with Aisha Tamba only days before the start of their campaign.

His new bride’s age has been claimed to be 26 on social media, although it was 18 at first.

The couple reportedly tied the knot on Sunday at a mosque in Keur Massar, which is situated in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, as reported by Business Day.

They are both Senegalese and are from the same region.

In under 24 hours after being shared on Instagram, wedding photos have over 85,000 likes.

They sat down and posed for photos together in a video that was also posted.

Mane reportedly inaugurated a new stadium in his hometown of Bambali earlier last month, which coincides with the wedding, according to Pulse Sports.

Throughout his six years at Liverpool, Mane remained tight-lipped about his personal life.

He was allegedly seeing Melissa Reddy, a reporter for Sky Sports.

Neither of them, however, verified this to be accurate.

Mane revealed his ideal spouse type in a 2022 conversation.

The man told Tribune, “I’ve seen a lot of girls asking me why I am not married, but sorry you might be wasting your time.” I’m sorry. No social media presence on the part of the woman I marry.

I am looking for a wife that is devout and has a strong prayer life. When it comes to choosing a partner, everyone is unique.

There is no social media presence from Aisha.

On Monday, Mane’s Senegal will face Gabon in the opening match of their Africa Cup of Nations defense.

He left Bayern Munich after only a year and a half to join Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia last summer.

His best stretch of play, though, came in 269 appearances for Liverpool, during which he scored 120 goals and assisted on 48 more.

The Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and Club World Cup were all won by Jurgen Klopp’s squad with his assistance.
