Check out Jerry West’s old Memphis house.
The house in Ladera Heights that the great Jerry West used to live in is now for sale for about $1.5 million.
Major League Baseball stars have lived in the Westside neighborhood in the past. Frank Robinson, boxer Ken Norton, and Olympic gold winner Peter Vidmar are just a few of the famous people who have lived in the area. Byron Scott, who used to play for and coach the Lakers, is another past resident.
The mint-colored ranch house was built in 1964 and has been updated since then. It has a swimming pool and sits on about a quarter of an acre of land.
The living area is 3,212 square feet and has a formal dining room, five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a living room with a fireplace. The kitchen has a center island that has been renovated. The den is made of wood and has a fireplace and a wet bar.
Records show that West sold the house for about $750,000 more than ten years ago.
The list is owned by Yvonne Rose-Jackson of Making a Difference. The exact price on the list is $1,499,900.
West, who is now 78 years old, played his whole career for the Lakers. He made 14 all-star teams and won the NBA title in 1972. As a manager for the Lakers, he won executive of the year twice and helped lead the team to six championships.
