Lil Durk gifted himself a luxurious White Ferrari F8 Tributo and paid in full in cash
Rapper Lil Durk announced on social media a little more than a week ago how much he wanted a Ferrari. To show how serious he was, he even held out a bag of cash. He proudly displays his newest purchase, a white Ferrari F8 Tributo, today and affirms that he paid the full price for it.
While many celebrities often seek to diversify their vehicle collections, rappers and supercars remain a classic pairing, and Lil Durk is no exception.
Despite boasting a collection of contemporary vehicles, Lil Durk recognized the absence of a Ferrari in his garage. Taking to Instagram Stories a week ago, he shared a brief video holding a bag of cash, captioned: “I need a Rari, all cash.” Tagging the dealership Road Show International, he emphasized his need for the acquisition “asap, asap.”
Just one week later, he presents his new vehicle to his fans: a sleek white Ferrari F8 Tributo. They did reshare his original request, however it’s still unclear if the tagged dealership made the transaction possible.
Amidst an array of images featuring him next to the supercar, Lil Durk exclaims, “I really paid all cash for dat,” as he strikes a pose atop the Ferrari’s nose. He conceals the inside, but you can feel his enthusiasm.
The Ferrari F8 Tributo, the model he has selected, has a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and a 7-speed automatic DCT transmission. The F8 Tributo, with its 700 horsepower and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque, is the pinnacle of Ferrari performance. It can go from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 2.9 seconds, with an electronically controlled top speed of 211 mph (340 kph).
Lil Durk’s most recent acquisition is proof of the benefits of having a $4 million net worth; it’s a reminder that having the money doesn’t always translate into realizing your dreams.
