This season, Liverpool’s form has been very Jekyll and Hyde. They are currently struggling in the Premier League, winning only four of their 12 games and sitting in ninth place in the table.

Their Champions League performance, on the other hand, has been outstanding.
Jurgen Klopp’s мen have won five of their six games and scored 17 goals. Despite their solid form on the continent, Klopp’s мen haven’t quite been at the races this season, and the German desperately needs to rejuvenate his team.
Despite their poor form, Liverpool are considering a move for Georgian sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, whose price tag has been reveɑled, though they will face competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Christian Emile, his agent, was speaking with Fabrizio Romano about the winger’s fee, saying:
“You know what’s crɑzy, he’s done what he’s been doing in Russia and Europe for the past couple of years.
“He’s come to Napoli, he’s been brilliant, and people are talking about €100million (£87m).

“For me, if he continues to perform like this till the end of the season and next season, because there’s a 0% chance they sell him [in January]. He will reach €100million (£86.7million) for sure.”
Although there is no doubt that Kvaratskhelia can improve Klopp’s side, it appears that the summer may be the time to make a move for him. According to FBref’s player comparison model, Kvaratskhelia is very similar to Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr.
In terms of goal contributions, both players have six league goals this season, with the Georgian recording five assists to the Brazilian’s three.
The Napoli star has more shots on target per match (1.35 to 1.20), but they both have more than four shot-creating actions per game (6.01 to 4.38), demonstrating that they are always looking for another goal or assist.
With Vinicius Jr finally reaching his full potential in Spain, Klopp would love to sign a forward who is similar to him, and Kvaratskhelia, 21, is the perfect fit.
Football writer Rory Smith recently praised the Serie A star, saying, “He’s instinctive, untamed, anarchic, and, most importantly, he’s really, really good fun.”
The youngster is on his way up, and Klopp will have to make sure he chooses Liverpool over other European heavyweights when the time comes to move on from Italy.
