Fans may still have a better chance of securing Taylor Swift’s Eras tour tickets by renting the famous townhouse on Cornelia Street in New York City that the singer owns than by purchasing the exorbitantly priced tickets that have been resold on the secondary market.
While she was having work done on her townhouse in the neighborhood of Tribeca in 2016, Swift, who is now 32 years old, rented a room in the house.
This temporary home even gained notoriety when Taylor Swift wrote a song on her seventh studio album titled “Cornelia Street.” “Lover” was released in 2014. The song is inspired by the singer’s recollections of the time she spent in the house at the beginning of her romantic relationship with actor Joe Alywn.

There are three gas fireplaces, hardwood floors, and drɑmɑtic double-height ceilings throughout the entire home. The home is also equipped with a garage for added discretion, in addition to an indoor pool that is approximately 30 feet by 15 feet and has a depth of 5.5 feet, making it ideal for an A-list celebrity.
In addition to that, there is a rooftop terrace that has a gabled roof structure and open views of downtown Manhattan. This is the cherry on top.
The house was constructed in 1899 and has a total area of approximately 5,500 square feet. According to the listing, it was initially utilized as a carriage house in the year 1870 and served as something other than a home.

The swimming pool can be found on the ground floor. In the meantime, the listing specifies that the living room can be found on the second level. This room features beamed ceilings, blond parquet Russian Ipe wood floors, leaded glass windows, and a woodburning fireplace with a marble hearth.
The kitchen is outfitted with a granite countertop, a Fisher & Paykel double drawer dishwasher, a Wolf range, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and wine fridge, and a wine cooler. It opens up into the dining area, which features floor-to-ceiling casement windows that look out onto the backyard views of the West Village. This floor has a bedroom that can also be used as a home office and it has a full bathroom that looks out onto Cornelia Street.
Two separate bedroom suites, each with their own private outdoor space, can be found on the third floor. The master bedroom has high ceilings, a walk-in closet, and an impressive marble bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower and a skylight. These features can be found in the primary bedroom. The balcony has its very own outdoor lounge area, complete with a gas fireplace.

Fans of pop star Taylor Swift now have the opportunity to lease one of the singer’s most recognizable residences.
The singer who won a Grammy has put her former apartment in New York City, which is located on Cornelia Street, up for rent at a staggeringly high price: $45,000 per month. Fans of Taylor Swift are likely familiar with the residence because it is mentioned in her song “Cornelia Street,” which was released in 2019, and tells the story of when she rented the home in 2016 as a temporary abode while the renovations on her Tribeca property were taking place.
According to records obtained from StreetEasy and reported by PEOPLE in 2016, Swift rented the luxurious townhouse for a monthly rate of $38,000, which is slightly less than the new list price.
The West Village home is currently being rented out to an Italian furniture company called Zanotta, which utilizes the space as a showroom. The home is currently listed for rent with the Corcoran Group under the guidance of agents Laurence Carty, Irene Lo, and Jennifer Rahilly.
The carriage house was built in 1870 and is brimming with personality. A press release states that it is 21 feet wide and possesses “drɑmɑtic double height ceilings.” Additionally, it has four bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. It has a total of three gas fireplaces, hardwood flooring, and even an elevator for your convenience.
