Man Utd must pay at least £100m to land ‘Ace of England’ in advance of next season

Manchester United will have to pay at least £100 million to sign Declan Rice from West Ham United ahead of next season.

According to The Guardian, the Hammers are unwilling to sell their prized asset for less than a nine-figure sum.

Rice, who is currently playing for England in the World Cup in Qatar, is widely expected to leave West Ham before his contract expires in the summer of 2024.

The January transfer window opens in less than a month, and it appears to be a busy month for several Premier League clubs. Cristiano Ronaldo may also make headlines again as he decides where he will play next after his tumultuous exit from Manchester United.

This will almost certainly have an impact at Old Trafford, as Erik ten Hag will want a replacement brought in. Meanwhile, Arsenal will want to maintain their lead in the Premier League, and Mikel Arteta has stated that he expects funds to be made available to him in January.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea may look for new faces in the midseason market after struggling in the first few months of the season. Graham Potter has not won in five league games, and Chelsea is already fighting for a top-four spot.

Then there are Newcastle, Manchester City, and Tottenham, who could all do business to help their respective teams climb to the top of the table. Express Sport will be on hand to provide breaking news and the most recent updates leading up to the January transfer window.
