Manchester United can announce both blockbusters

According to journalist Dean Jones, Manchester United will be able to sign both Frenkie de Jong and Adrien Rabiot this transfer window

Manchester United are looking to bolster their midfield following the departures of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic. In July, journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that the Red Devils and Barcelona had reached an agreement in the case of Frenkie De Jong for an initial fee of 65 million euros, with an additional 20 million euros. However, the fact that the Dutch player is owed his salary by Barcelona complicates matters.

At the moment, the Red Devils are considering Adrien Rabiot as a backup plan if De Jong cannot be brought back. However, journalist Dean Jones believes that Manchester United can still successfully recruit both.

He stated to GiveMeSport: “Things will be much brighter if Manchester United suddenly include both De Jong and Rabiot in their squad. And these two acquisitions will be significant upgrades.”

“But there’s obviously a long way to go and a lot of hope and luck to get things going.”

Aside from the two names mentioned, Erik Ten Hag is looking to bring another winger back to Old Trafford. Man United are interested in PSV’s Cody Gakpo, who is valued at around £35 million, according to Sky Sports.

Last season, the PSV left winger had 21 goals and 15 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.

After losing Saliba, Marseille is determined to sign Manchester United defender.

Despite an impressive preseason performance, but with the presence of Lisandro Martinez, midfielder Eric Bailly has almost no chance of competing for a spot in the Red Devils squad.

He is currently ranked fifth in this position, behind Martinez, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, and Victor Lindelof. As a result, Manchester United is currently looking to sell the former Villarreal star in order to free up salary funds.

Many speculated on Bailly’s side that he would abandon his stubborn move and instead be ready to join a new destination if he felt it was appropriate.

AS Roma and Sevilla have both expressed interest in signing the Ivory Coast midfielder. According to a source from L’Equipe, Marseille has recently begun to focus on Bailly.

The Ligue 1 representative has just parted ways with William Saliba, who returned to Arsenal after his loan contract expired. As a result, they require another high-quality name to fill the void left by Saliba.

According to L’Equipe, Marseille wanted to buy Bailly outright rather than just hire him on loan. Meanwhile, Manchester United will consider all offers. This transaction is entirely feasible if the French representative offers a reasonable price.
