Mean Girls Reunion

Mean Girls Reunion! Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert Spotted Filming Secret Project

The Plastics still got together even though it’s not October 3.

In Los Angeles on Friday, a few members of the original Mean Girls cast got together for a special covert commercial initiative, over twenty years after the cult classic teen comedy was published.

On a football field in Los Angeles, camera teams spotted Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert.

The 37-year-old Lohan played Cady Heron in the 2004 movie, a young person who had recently immigrated from Africa and was now a social pariah at her high school. There, she first encountered the gravity of the social order as she got to know the fiercely loyal group known as The Plastics, which consisted of teen queen bees Karen Smith (Seyfried), Gretchen Wieners (Chabert), and Regina George (Rachel McAdams).

The 44-year-old McAdams did not attend the shoot.

The women were beaming, and Seyfried, 37, and Chabert, 41, were dressed in pink, which is what any decent Plastic would wear on a Wednesday!

The movie’s well-known “Get in loser— we’re going shopping” scene included a silver convertible, which the fictitious Toaster Strudel heiress was spotted driving.

Seyfried was seen holding a microphone in another picture while sporting a blazer, which may have been a reference to her scene in Mean Girls where she gave the students a weather report at school and said there was “a 30 percent chance it’s already raining” because it was actually raining.

Wearing all black, Lohan carried a zipped bag with the words “Plastics Club Member” on it while she was on set.

Although the reunion’s specifics are unknown, the film will be commemorating a significant anniversary in 2019.

The Mean Girls Musical Movie is making its premiere twenty years after the original movie debuted in theaters.

The Broadway musical’s composer and the original film’s writer, Tina Fey, revealed the project’s impending release in January 2020. The 53-year-old former cast member of Saturday Night Live also acted in the 2004 comedy as Ms. Norbury, a charming teacher who is once accused of being a “drug pusher.”

Fey will play the same role in the upcoming movie as Tim Meadows, who plays Principal Duvall.

When asked in February if she and her former co-stars are “100 percent into” making a cameo, Seyfried said to Entertainment Tonight. “It’s been a long legacy for Mean Girls, and I think we all kinda just need to hang,” she stated. Unknown is the extent of their involvement in the musical, which also includes Bebe Wood, Reneé Rapp, Auliʻi Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, and Angourie Rice.

On Tuesday, Paramount Pictures celebrated Oct. 3 by sharing the entire Mean Girls movie in mini clips on TikTok.

“Get in, loser. We’re watching the full #MeanGirls movie,” the first of 23 uploads was captioned.

The ‘Mean Girls’ Cast — Including Lindsay Lohan — Reunites on ‘Mean Girls’ Day for a Special Cause

The date alludes to a dialogue that occurs between Lindsay Lohan’s persona and her idol Aaron Samuels. Heron bursts into tears at the scene when the star athlete from high school asks her what day it is in math class.

The complete movie is available for viewing on Paramount+ and YouTube with advertisements for those who want to see it. You can also buy the classic on iTunes and Amazon.com.
