Mew Man United signing Sofyan Amrabat was replaced in the Morocco squad due to ιnjury

The 27-year-old forward moved to Old Trafford from Fiorentina late in the summer window on loan with an option to buy.

With his squad struggling to get going, Erik ten Hag will be counting on Amrabat to make an immediate impact, but fitness concerns may slow him down.

Amrabat was originally included as part of Morocco’s roster for their upcoming games against Liberia and Burkina Faso, however he has since been removed due to ιnjury. On Saturday, Morocco will play Liberia in a qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations, while their match against Burkina Faso on November 3 will be a friendly.

There has been no word on the severity of the ιnjury, but earlier this week it was reported that Manchester United found a fitness issue during Amrabat’s test before he joined with the club.

The Athletic said that a small back condition was discovered during the medical examination, but the Red Devils proceeded with the loan signing anyhow, indicating that they did not consider the issue to be serious.Ten Hag would be relieved to hear that the ιnjury is not serious, as reported by Moroccan writer Izem Anass. Manchester United plays Brighton on September 16th, and Ten Hag hopes to play.

After their Champions League opener against Bayern Munich on September 20, United’s schedule gets very full.

Pundit tells Manchester United to replace Erik ten Hag with ‘someone like Jurgen Klopp’

Simon Jordan, a former chairman of Crystal Palace, suggested that Manchester United hire Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, to replace Erik ten Hag.

The United team hired the Dutch manager away from Ajax for the 2022–23 season. In United’s first season under Ten Hag’s leadership, the team placed third. The only teams to place higher than United are Manchester City and Arsenal.

Jordan made these comments to the Daily Mail (via the Mirror):

Asking, “Is Ten Hag the finest of its kind? I would have to sаy no. He won’t be the one to finally bring a championship to the club, that’s for sure. United needs a manager with Jurgen Klopp’s ability to take it all in stride, take on the enormous burden of leading such a major club, and still bring home the championship. Someone who can channel the team’s passion and drive from its past successes to achieve results that are reflective of the club’s illustrious past. Does Ten Hag come to mind with that? I seriously doubt it.Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, the Red Devils have gone through several managerial changes. Top-tier managers like Jose Mourinho were fired after failing to win enough games to keep their jobs.

Managers at United are held to a very high standard, and they are expected to consistently produce results. The team has struggled, though, to live up to those lofty expectations.

It’s still early in the season to start questioning the manager, but many United fans agree that this is the case. United will try to improve on their Premier League point total of 75 from the previous season. After the international break, the Dutch coach will work to reinvigorate his United squad. Ten Hag was successful in his mission to re-qualify the Red Devils into the Champions League. He should be given more time to restore the team’s past success.

Also, getting Jurgen Klopp would be an uphill bаttle. The German manager has been at Liverpool for almost eight years and appears to have set his sights there.Perhaps what was intended to indicate that Klopp, and not Ten Hag, should take over as head coach. That makes more sense, given that the ex-Borussia Dortmund manager has already turned down the opportunity to manage us.

Then Ten Hag will only be staying for a year. To suggest that he is not ultimately responsible for the outcome is unfair.
