Liverpool are in talks over a four-year deal with Chiesa, who has one year remaining on his current deal and is worth roughly £12.7 million.

In 2020, the 26-year-old joined Juventus on a two-year loan after starting his career at Fiorentina, where he went on to make over 150 appearances across all competitions.Despite missing time due to injury, Chiesa won two Coppa Italias while playing for the Turinese club.

Last season was Chiesa’s most productive for Juventus, as he scored nine goals in 33 Serie A games.He is a mainstay on Italy’s roster and helped Roberto Mancini’s squad beat England in the 2020 European Championship final at Wembley.

On Tuesday, Liverpool completed the acquisition of Giorgi Mamardashvili, a goalkeeper from Georgia, for £29 million. This is the club’s first signing under Arne Slot’s tenure.Adding additional players is something the team is looking into before Friday’s deadline.
