Not Bellingham, Serie A £100m star is inflammatory candidate Liverpool Һunting for

The Reds are looking for at least one new midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.

The club’s current crop of center-midfielders is getting older, and three of players — Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Naby Keita, and James Milner – have contracts expiring next year.

Liverpool will almost certainly require at least one new midfielder next summer. It is evident that they want Jude Bellingham to be one of their new arrivals.

But they will have to work hard to entice the Englishman to join them, as PSG are the latest team to express interest in the 19-year-old.

While they may not be able to sign Bellingham, signing Amrabat from Fiorentina would be a much easier transaction to complete.

The 26-year-current old’s contract with the Serie A club expires in 2024.

He’s been linked with Tottenham and is now impressing for Morocco at the World Cup.

Amrabat helped Morocco beat Spain on penalties to advance to the competition’s quarter-finals on Tuesday night, enhancing his reputation.

His recent form appears to have piqued the interest of Liverpool, and his agent, Gianluca Nani, has explored the idea of his player joining the English club.

“Amrabat is a very good player who didn’t start well. Maybe he’s not among the top three in the world in his role but he’s a good player who is justifying the money spent on him by Fiorentina,” Nani told Tuttomercatoweb (via Sport Witness).

“He’s at the centre of the project. Liverpool on him? I haven’t heard the word, also because I don’t look for it, I have a different job.

“But it is true that Liverpool are looking for more than one player in that role. I don’t know if Amrabat is on their list, then it’s difficult to say if he’s worthy of Liverpool: they’ll evaluate him even if in the Premier League the intensity needed is great.

“On the figures, if Liverpool want a player, they will spend even 100 million. It depends if they rate him as a Liverpool player or not.

“As far as Fiorentina are concerned, I am always for giving up in the face of fair offers and then reinvesting in the appropriate way.”

Liverpool appear to be keeping their options open, as 90min reports that they have’made contact’ with Valencia about signing Yunus Musah.

The former Arsenal junior player has been a fixture in La Liga in recent years, and he performed admirably for the United States against England in the World Cup group stages.

Chelsea is thought to have’registered their interest’ in Musah as well.

Valencia, on the other hand, is ‘determined’ to keep him.

Valencia has also’moved to initiate discussions’ with Musah over a new deal, according to 90min. His current contract, which expires in 2026, is rumored to have a €100 million release clause.

Transfer rumors: One team drops out of the Bellingham race, as another flounders; Manchester United in keeper discussions

Five might become three in the hunt to acquire Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham next summer, while Manchester United has begun talks with a World Cup goalkeeper…

MANCHESTER UNITED OUT OF BELLINGHAM RACEJude Bellingham was reportedly a top target for Manchester United next summer. They are now said to be out of the race entirely.

Bellingham is anticipated to depart Borussia Dortmund at the conclusion of the season, sparking a bidding battle for a fee in the range of £130 million. That figure could climb before the end of the week, let alone by the end of the summer.

United were one of five clubs interested in Bellingham, and we only presented the argument for why the Red Devils should sign the 19-year-old yesterday. However, Sky Sports believes that was a waste of time because United are already out of contention.

Real Madrid is rumored to be worried of Bellingham’s rising worth, so the five might be reduced to three – Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea.

Real are only willing to spend £108 million for the midfielder, according to Defensa Central. This will not be enough to secure a meeting with Dortmund.

RED DEVILS OPEN KEEPER TALKSWith Bellingham out of the way, United can focus on other matters. There are a lot of them…

With David De Gea’s contract coming to an end, Erik ten Hag must confront his goalkeeping options. United could extend his current contract for another year beyond the conclusion of the season, but De Gea’s salary makes that an unappealing choice.

According to Bild, United have begun discussions with Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer. The Red Devils were linked with the Switzerland stopper in the summer, but a January transfer could be arranged, as the 33-year-old’s contract with Gladbach expires at the end of the season.

Jan Oblak has also been mentioned as a possible target for United, and Fichajes claims that the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper is the club’s first priority. They are also reportedly interested in Porto’s Diogo Costa and Benfica’s Odysseas Vlachodimos.

DUMFRIES PRICE WAS TOLD BY CHELSEA AS REAL EYE AZPILICUETA

United are one of the clubs associated with Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries, with Chelsea also interested.

Dumfries is currently increasing his value with the Netherlands at the World Cup, and according to Calciomercato, the Italians would find it difficult to refuse any offer worth £43 million, especially if it came with an additional £8.6 million in potential add-ons.

United require a right-back because their only option is Diogo Dalot, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is not rated by Ten Hag. Chelsea’s need could be exacerbated in January, according to reports in Spain, because Real Madrid is interested in signing Cesar Azpilicueta, who was a Barcelona target last summer.
