CHICAGO — The erasure of Elon Musk’s wealth has gone down in history.
According to the Bloomberg bιllιonaires Index, the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter is second on the list of the richest people in the world behind LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault with a net worth of $137 bιllιon. However, Musk’s net wealth peaked in November 2021 at $340 bιllιon.
According to Bloomberg’s article from last week, Musk is the first individual to ever lose $200 bιllιon in worth.
The majority of Musk’s fortune is invested in Tesla, whose shares fell 65% in 2022. As established automakers increased their competitiveness in the electric vehicle market last year, demand for Teslas decreased. The business reduced manufacturing in China after falling short of its expansion goals. According to CNN, its fourth-quarter deliveries fell short of Wall Street’s expectations.
The company’s announcement of a rare sale in an effort to reduce inventory last month provided evidence of automobile customers’ waning enthusiasm in Teslas. Tesla provided two refunds to customers who took possession of a vehicle before the end of the year, first providing a $3,750 discount and then tripling it with two weeks left in 2022 to $7,500.
The refunds alarmed investors, who caused the stock to fall 37% in December.
Tesla had a trillion-dollar valuation at the beginning of 2022, but critics have long questioned if it was ever worth that much money. Tesla had a fraction of the world’s 12 top automakers’ sales, yet at its peak, it was worth more than all of them put together. Tesla’s value at year’s end was $386 bιllιon, which is still significantly higher than that of its car competitors but significantly lower than that of the tech giants Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon with whom it was being compared a year earlier.
Tesla’s stock price and Musk’s personal riches haven’t benefited from his $44 bιllιon acquisition of Twitter. Since his interest in Twitter was made public in April, Musk, Tesla’s largest shareholder, has sold shares worth $23 bιllιon.
Investors at Tesla want Musk to focus more on his vastly larger and more valuable firm instead of his continual tweeting and increasingly unpredictable conduct, especially after he became CEO of Twitter. Musk has defended himself against detractors by claiming that since taking over Twitter, he hasn’t missed any significant Tesla meetings.
Musk might regain his position as the richest person in the world if Tesla’s stock rises once again. But in 2022, Musk’s reputation as a genius suffered significant harm that was almost as great as the loss of his own fortune.

Despite all the issues that have been raised against him, Elon Musk is a genius and a model businessman.
Of course, one of his many attempts is the well-known and frequently criticized notion of Martian travel, which he insists will soon be a reality.

Elon Musk aims to launch a big number of satellites, as he does with everything else, and this is what also sets this project apart from the rest. He has no intention of sending a small number first to see how things go before sending more; he intends to send them all at once.

Elon Musk trolls Andrew Tate with pizza tweet
Angry influencer and alleged s/ҽ/x trafficker Andrew Tate was mocked by Elon Musk on Saturday after the wealthy Tesla creator lauded Greta Thunberg.
The head of Twitter stated on New Year’s Eve that “sometimes it’s just nicer to bake pizza at home.”
The joke made reference to the belief that Tate, 36, was located in hiding in Romania after posting a video of himself carrying a Jerry’s Pizza box, a well-known local pizza business.
Tate had made an attempt to use the box as a prop to clap back at the 19-year-old eco-warrior with whom he had just one day earlier participated in a trending Twitter argument.
Many believe that this pizza box played a role in Andrew Tate’s capture after he and his brother Tristan were both detained in Romania on Thursday on charges of kidnapping and rapҽ .
In the video, the self-described s/ҽ/xist instructed someone off-screen to watch out for recycling the boxes as he called Thunberg a “slave of the matrix.”
On Thursday, not long after the video was posted, Tate was taken into custody on rapҽ and kidnapping allegations. He and his brother are accused of creating a gang, “s/ҽ/xually exploiting” womҽn, and compelling them to star in pornσgraphιc movies.

Tate has been the target of three tweets from Musk since his arrҽst abroad on New Year’s Eve.
Musk, 51, tweeted on Friday that Thunberg was “awesome” for confronting the online provocateur.
“The level of brand awareness Greta has amassed in just a few years is astonishing. In response to a post by satirical website Babylon Bee’s Thunberg-themed thermostat, which “scowls at you when you crank the heat up,” Musk said of the Swedish campaigner, “I think she’s amazing honestly.”
Musk is the creator of the electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla.
Andrew Tate, 36, who was born in the US and has British citizenship, had been under investigation by authorities since April.
