PHOTOS Gallery: With the return of Robertson, Szoboszlai, and Jaros, Liverpool’s work continues

Here are some pictures we took on Tuesday at the AXA Training Centre as Liverpool continued their preseason training.

Vitezslav Jaros, Andy Robertson, and Dominik Szoboszlai were all returning from their summer holiday after competing at Euro 2024.

While Arne Slot and his coaching staff monitored the rest of the team in the gym, they also worked out on the grass.

Real Madrid is planning to add Trent Alexander-Arnold, a star for Liverpool, to their roster as their next big deal following Kylian Mbappe

This summer, talkSPORT has learned that Real Madrid is intent on snatching Liverpool sensation Trent Alexander-Arnold from Anfield.

Los Blancos have expressed interest in the England international, whose contract with Merseyside is about to expire. And his Three Lions teammate Jude Bellingham could be playing a key part; the two are said to have been even closer during Euro 2024.

Alexander Arnold, who came through Liverpool’s youth system, is still up in the air as to whether Real will formally offer him a contract.

The versatility of the right back makes Liverpool’s interest in a transfer murky.

So yet, there has been zero discussion about the player signing new contracts with his childhood club. But if he does decide to move to the Bernabeu, he’ll be able to see his good pal Bellingham again.

After joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund last year, the midfielder quickly established himself as an integral part of the team, helping them win the LaLiga and the Champions League in his first season.

With Jurgen Klopp’s departure, important players Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah also have contract expirations in June 2025, which might lead to an exodus at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid has been quite successful in acquiring superstars through transfers in the past few years. After Kylian Mbappe’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired this summer, the European champions confirmed that he would be joining them on a free transfer.

After receiving an extra summer to recover from Euro 2024, the France international will reunite with his new Madrid teammates later in the summer.A sold-out Bernabeu stadium welcomed the World Cup champion a rousing ovation when he was unveiled on Tuesday.

Endrick, a young sensation from Brazil, has come from Palmeiras; other notable arrivals to Madrid in recent years include Aurelien Tchouameni, Antonio Rudiger, and Eduardo Camavinga.

With the departures of Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip, and Adrian, Liverpool still has not signed a single player this summer.
