The young Liverpool player claims that Thiago Alcantara was teaching him football “daily lessons.”

Announcing his retirement from football, Thiago Alcantara was a midfielder for Liverpool in the past.

Thiago has had a rough almost 18-month stretch, during which he has seen very little playing time for the Reds.

It has long been known that Thiago would leave Anfield at the end of the season, despite only getting five minutes of playing time during his last year there.

The announcement that the Spaniard is retiring at the young age of 33 came as something of a surprise, though.

Messages of support have been flooding in from all corners of the football globe, including the Reds first-team squad, following a spectacular career that finally came to an end at Liverpool. There will be no “lessons” from Thiago for Stefan Bajcetic. At the moment, the main sentiment at Liverpool is that they were disappointed that they didn’t get more Thiago in all those four seasons.

Reds fans will surely feel lucky to have witnessed one of the most talented players of his generation play 98 times for the club when they reflect on the midfielder’s career in years to come. When I think аbоut Thiаgо’s time аt Liverpооl, I mоstly think аbоut his injury prоblems, given hоw little gаme time he hаԀ lаst yeаr. Tо be fаir, thоugh, there were sоme truly memоrаble mоments.

Interestingly, his comeback to training earlier this year is one memorable experience. After an almost 12-month absence, Thiago’s participation at the AXA Training Centre in January sparked a significant response from the crowd. It appears that the remainder of the first-team squad was just as delighted to see Thiago as Jurgen Klopp was when he first saw him in training.

The No. 6 for Liverpool had developed strong feelings for one player in particular, Stefan Bajcetic. When they were both playing for Celta Vigo, Thiago’s dad and Bajcetic’s dad were teammates. The result was that the older man became a mentor to the younger player.

Bajcetic posted a message that will make fans happy and upset after Thiago announced his retirement on Monday via Instagram.

“I will miss your daily lessons on how to play this sport,” the 19-year-old stated in his letter.

Still, here’s hoping he picked up some useful tips from one of the best techs of all time.
