Real Madrid target Brazilian midfielder to replace Casemiro

The Santiago Bernabeu team is expected to recruit Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle in the remaining days of the summer transfer market.

According to AS, Real Madrid chose Bruno Guimaraes to take Casemiro’s place on the team. Early in 2022, the Brazilian midfielder made his Newcastle debut, and under coach Eddie Howe, he made a lasting impression. Famous for playing the creative midfielder position for Lyon, No. 39 has an extensive skill set with the most tackles, free kicks, and successful contest criteria of anyone on the team.

The 24-year-old midfielder’s quick development enabled him to progressively earn a starting spot in the Brazilian team. In comparison to Casemiro, who is currently negotiating a contract with Manchester United, Bruno Guimaraes is referred to by the Spanish media as a more accurate “clone.”

In July 2022, President Florentino Perez announced that the team would not recruit anyone after bringing in Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni. However, the coming of Casemiro to MU makes Real Madrid have to reconsider their transfer plans this summer.

Man United’s attractive offer for Casemiro made Real Madrid unable to refuse. While Los Blancos can pocket 70 million euros including bonuses, the Brazilian midfielder promises to receive twice the current salary.

Last Wednesday evening, Casemiro met directly with coach Ancelotti to discuss his desire to leave, after being given the green light by president Florentino Perez.

Ancelotti has always appreciated the influence of the Brazilian midfielder, with the role of clearing and intercepting in midfield, making a great contribution to helping Los Blancos win 18 titles in the past 9 years.

However, at the age of 30, Casemiro wants to find a new challenge in the Premier League environment and also earn a handsome contract before retiring.

The primary midfielder for Newcastle will not be given up easy, according to the Daily Mail. With a transfer fee of up to £ 40 million, Bruno Guimaraes recently agreed to a 4.5-year contract. Any interested club may be charged twice as much by the Tyneside team for Guimaraes.

In actuality, Real Madrid isn’t overly concerned about losing Casemiro. In addition to Tchouameni, coach Carlo Ancelotti also boasts the capable central midfielders Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Dani Ceballos.
