Real Madrid’s strength comes from the African ancestry

Real Madrid always favors players from the black continent, or of African origin. In the past as well as in the present, their success is marked by such players.

Real Madrid signed defender Antonio Ruediger (from Chelsea) and midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni during the summer transfer window (Monaco). Aside from the fact that they are all of African heritage, one is a German footballer and the other is a French player. Particularly, Tchouameni is from Cameroon, whilst Ruediger is from Sierra Leone.

African-American athletes frequently compete at the Bernabeu. There are at least four Carlo Ancelotti pupils with African ancestry on the Real Madrid squad that won the La Liga and Champions League treble last season. They are: Karim Benzema is Algerian-born; Eduardo Camavinga is of Congolese parents; Ferland Mendy is of Senegalese descent; David Alaba claims Austrian nationality but is of Nigerian descent; and Eduardo Camavinga is of Congolese descent.

In recent years, Real Madrid has actively applied a policy of looking for young talents from all over the world. Therefore, the wave of African-American players arriving in Madrid is understandable. If it wasn’t for striker Kylian Mbappe suddenly “turning the car” to renew his contract with PSG, although he had previously reached a personal agreement with Real Madrid, the Bernabeu also had one more star from the black continent, by the French player. whose father is of Cameroonian descent.

The majority of the players on the current Real Madrid roster are from Europe, followed by South Americans. The number is not modest, though, if you include the players from the black continent. Because of this, it is not a stretch to argue that Real Madrid has African blood.

Real Madrid has always had great success with players from Africa or the continent. Like Benzema, French football icon Zinedine Zidane is of Algerian heritage and has achieved success with Real Madrid both as a player and a coach. Claude Makele, a midfielder, is a native of the Congo. A number of African-born athletes have also made an appearance at the Bernabeu, including Samuel Eto’o, Michael Essien, and Emmanuel Adebayor.

There is no doubt that throughout Real Madrid’s history, African blood has always flowed. They are even important factors to turn the Royal team into a record holder in the Champions League / C1 Cup with 13 crowns. Needless to say, in Real Madrid’s recent double championship, striker Benzema made the biggest contribution. The Algerian-born star won the title of top scorer in both La Liga (scored 27 goals) and Champions League (scored 15 goals) to bring the Madrid team to the throne.
