Renowned rapper Eminem indulges in a life of opulence during his well-deserved retirement in a sprawling mansion

One of Michigan’s most opulent homes has just been put on the market. Previously, this property belonged to Eminem himself.

The CFO of Kmart sold the Oakland Township estate at 5760 Winkler Mill Road to Eminem in 2003, and he lived there until selling it in 2017, according to selling agent Kyle Matta of Century 21 Sakmar and Associates.

The 17,000 square feet of space here are divided between six bedrooms and ten baths. Matta claims that there is a resort-like feel to this place.

“It appears like the entrance where you would drop off your suitcases and people would come out and take them from you when you go through the gates and pull up to this house,” Matta told MLive.

Surrounding the approximately six acres of land are private walking trails. Also accessible are a  нσт tub, cabana, pool with a waterfall feature, and tennis/basketball court. There’s even an enclosed swimming pool with multiple fountains.

The dining room and pool area inside are filled with custom woodwork. With 1,600 square feet more than many homes and an office with views of the property’s grounds, the main bedroom of each themed suite is spacious and comfortable.

The pool, waterfall,  нσтtub, tennis court, and basketball court are all part of the “oasis,” as I like to refer to it, which is visible from the balcony which leads outdoors.

With 20-foot ceilings, the kitchen is a truly unique two-story space. It also features an atrium that passes through the upper section.

Given that it backs up to Stoney Creek Metropark, where construction is prohibited, Matta claims that the property is remote and secluded. Completely fenced in, the property features a 2,000 square foot guest house.
