Paris Saint-Germain is interested in signing Barcelona winger
Since Nico Williams has already committed to staying with Athletic Club this summer, Barcelona has moved on to other left wingers they want to sign. Among these, Kingsley Coman, Luis Diaz, and Rafael Leao are now under consideration.
The financial factors make a Leao transfer exceedingly implausible, and Liverpool’s desire to retain Diaz further makes it seem doubtful. Given that Bayern Munich is open to loan deals (with an option/obligation to buy) involving Coman, he is clearly the most financially sound alternative.
Getting Hansi Flick, whom Coman supervised at Bayern, back together won’t be easy for Barcelona. Kerry Hau of Sky Germany reports that the 28-year-old would be interested in returning to his professional career’s original club, Paris Saint-Germain. There has been talk of “good” communication between the club and the player.The good news for Barcelona is that PSG might pass on Coman because, with Desire Doue on the way, club management aren’t sure they need another attacker.
Beyond communicating with Coman’s representatives, Barcelona has not taken any further steps to express their interest in him. That might alter in the time remaining until the summer transfer window closes.
