After goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, left back Sergio Reguilon, and center defender Jonny Evans, he was United’s fourth and final deadline day addition.
Staff at United discovered Amrabat had a’minor back problem’ during his physical, but decided to move forward with the transaction nevertheless because it was not considered significant. United were permitted to field a team that included Bayindir, Reguilon, and Evans in their Sunday match against Arsenal, but not Amrabat since he had not yet been registered in time.
Amrabat then made the decision to join the Moroccan squad ahead of this weekend’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Liberia and next week’s friendly against Burkina Faso. However, Yahya Jabrane has replaced him in Walid Regragui’s roster, therefore he won’t be participating in either of those games.
Before United’s first Premier League match after the international break, it is unknown if Amrabat will return to Manchester to continue his recuperation. Four days before Ten Hag’s side returns to the Champions League against Bayern Munich, on September 16, Amrabat might make his Premier League debut against Brighton.
Amrabat, at the height of his powers following his transfer to United, said earlier this week, “I want to show it on the pitch, but I can promise that I will give my best with everything; every day, every minute, every second.” That’s all I can sаy at the moment.
