The home of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys was recently featured in Architectural Digest. Although the house is a remarkable piece of art and is said to have served as inspiration for Tony Stark’s bachelor pad, what really sets it apart is what’s in the garage.
DJ Swizz Beatz, whose actual name is Kasseem Daoud Dean, wed singer-songwriter Alicia Keys in 2010. Together, their net worth exceeds $300 million, and they have two children.
They offered us a tour of their home, which was just featured in Architectural Digest. It is full with contemporary artwork by many artists and is also a very livable area to enjoy with family and friends.
The $20.8 million “razor house,” dubbed “Dreamland,” is rumored to have served as the model for Tony Stark’s future bachelor pad in the Iron Man films. The singer of “Empire State of Mind,” who gave the name, explained that the 1,022-square-foot (11,000 square feet) home is a “place to create dreams and to be bold enough to dream your wildest dream.” Imagine having a home so magnificent that it serves as an inspiration for the mansions of the wealthiest characters. “That’s the Iron Man house, kids!,” exclaim the fans of Iron Man. Keys joked, “Listen, not only kids… grown-ups.”
The house boasts floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, and it is perched above the La Jolla cliffs in California. The house has a two-story guest house in addition to four bedrooms and six bathrooms.
I regret to inform you that Swizz Beatz’s garage is not the main focus of the tour with Architectural Digest. Nevertheless, a few images provide a peek of what’s concealed within the underground garage, which can accommodate more than six vehicles. Recognized for his passion for Ferraris, Swizz Beatz possesses an array of high-end vehicles and a recording facility adjacent to his garage. Although he and Alicia Keys share the room equally, the DJ says he doesn’t call it his “man cave”; instead, they refer to it as “the grown-up floor.”
One of Swizz Beatz’s Ferraris is visible in the back of the couple’s photo beside the pool, tucked behind a stunning arch. Another one features a few vehicles from his collection, such as a Ferrari SF90 Stradale, a Ferrari LaFerrari, and a Ferrari Enzo. You can view them in the attachment that is posted below.
This 6.0-liter V12 engine powers the Enzo with 651 horsepower and 657 Nm (485 lb-ft) of torque. It can sprint from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3.65 seconds, and it can reach nearly 350 kph (217 mph) at its highest speed.
The Ferrari LaFerrari’s hybrid powertrain produces 949 horsepower and 663 lb-ft (889 Nm) of torque by combining a 6.3-liter V12 engine with an electric motor. The Italian hypercar accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in under 2.8 seconds, and it can achieve a top speed of 218 mph (351 kph).
The SF 90 Stradale, which features a 4.0-liter engine that generates 769 horsepower on its own and 986 horsepower when coupled with the three motors, is parked next to the LaFerrari. The PHEV can reach a top speed of 211 mph (340 kph) after accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in 2.5 seconds.

In addition to these two, Beatz displayed a few McLaren vehicles. A limited-edition “Senna” with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine is one of them. It delivers 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque and 789 horsepower (800 PS). Thus, in a just 2.8 seconds, the British supercar can accelerate from zero to 62 mph (0-100 kph).
Let’s not forget to discuss a few more vehicles from Swizz Beatz’s impressive collection. The DJ gave us an exclusive tour of his “grown-up floor” in October 2020 and revealed the treasures kept in his garage while clad in “my PJs Tony Starks Swizzy.”
In addition to the Ferraris already mentioned, Swizz Beatz also owns an Aston Martin Vantage, which he received from Keys on his 40th birthday, a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, a Maybach 62 S, a Lotus Evora, and a Lotus Elise. And lastly, Alicia Keys has a classic Ford Mustang that she adores and nicknamed “Black Cherry.”
I’m not even going to try to quantify the value that their cars bring. However, considering Swizz Beatz’s passion for Ferraris, it wouldn’t surprise me if he added more later on. To be honest, he has ample space for them.
