‘The Kardashians’ ss2: Things were not included and you didn’t know

It covers the period from early July, when Kim and her daughter North West went Paris Fashion Week, to around February, when Kylie Jenner gave birth to her son. The preparations for Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Travis Barker’s wedding to Kim Kardashian’s contentious Met Gala ensemble were among the family’s most significant events of the year that were documented during the season.

However, certain important public events that were either skimmed over on TV or hardly acknowledged were also left out. The most important storylines that weren’t included in the new season ranged from Kim’s divorce from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, to her first red carpet appearance with ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson.

The season mostly skated over Ye’s social media posts about Pete Davidson

Kim Kardashian discusses Ye’s social media claim that he wasn’t “allowed” to see his children in March in the fourth episode of season two. She refuted the claim at the time by commenting on one of his Instagram pictures to say that he had just arrived to pick up the kids from school.

Kardashian informed her sisters, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, “I don’t want to argue on the internet.”

But after that acknowledgement, the season skips over Ye’s social media posts from February and March, where he complained about co-parenting with Kim and finally started sharing photos on Instagram that were critical of her ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

According to BuzzFeed News, this included calling Davidson “Sk.ete,” sharing memes pitting the two and several other celebrities against one another, and instructing his followers to chant “Kimye Forever” at Davidson if they spotted him in public. In March, Ye also un.veiled a music video in which he looked to be bur.ying a cari.cature of Davidson alive.

Although Kim spoke out about Ye’s “continuous atta.cks” against her and the impact it had on their children in the beginning of February, the conflict was largely ignored on “The Kardashians.”

Kim and Ye’s divorce proceedings also aren’t addressed on the show

Ye also filed a motion in opposition to Kim’s plea to end their marriage while their divorce was still pending in February. She restated her demand to end the status of her marriage to Ye in court documents related to the divorce that Insider was able to access. She also claimed that “misinformation” in his social media posts had led to “emotional pa.in.”

Kim’s name was eventually changed from Kim Kardashian West to Kim Kardashian by a judge in March, according to an earlier story from Insider.

The show didn’t depict Kim and Davidson’s first red carpet together, instead focusing on the Met Gala

Although Davidson is seen escorting Kim to the Met Gala in the ninth episode of season two, the pair’s first red carpet outing is not depicted in the show.

On April 30, the pair attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner together and made their red carpet debut. According to Vogue, Kim attended the event wearing a dazzling Balen.ciaga gown, while Davidson donned a Prada suit.

Then-couple made a brief mention of the occasion while driving to the Met, commenting on how exhausting it was to attend both the dinner and the Met Gala in the same week, albe.it we are unable to see it.

In addition to wanting it to be a non-fashion event, Kim rev.ealed, “I really wanted our first red carpet for me to be in brown hair.”

In response, Davidson said, “Yeah, I wanted us to be getting slimed at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, but to each his own.”

While members of the family speak about the Blac Chyna tri.al, they rarely go into detail

The Blac Chyna tri.al, which took place in April and May, is largely discussed on the show in terms of how stressful it is and how much they hope the tr.uth will come out. The courtroom wouldn’t have shown up on screen naturally since there aren’t any images from the actual tri.al itself, only court graphics.

However, throughout the tri.al, family members gave testimony and discussed specifics that weren’t shown on the screen. On the the stand, Kris Jenner claimed that the event in which Blac Chyna, whose re.al name is Angela White, pointed a gu.n at her son Rob Kardashian “traumatized” her. She further stated that Chyna had end.angered the lives of both her then-boyfriend Tyga and her daughter Kylie Jenner.

The judgement is also mostly ignored in the show, which is unfortunate considering that it is reve.aled as the family is preparing for the Met Gala. Despite siding with the Kardashians and finding that they owed Chyna no dam.ages, the jury’s decision was reached after deliberating on a difficult set of issues. According to one of their rulings, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner did not “act reasonably and in good faith” to protect their financial interests when dealing with Chyna on their TV shows and, in the cases of Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, as executive producers on “Rob & Chyna,” to protect their interests in Chyna.

Jurors concurred that Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian’s actions, which included texting and emailing studio executives about their disapproval of “Rob & Chyna,” were not justified when asked whether their actions were “justified with respect to Angela White’s contractual relationship with the E! network.”

Khloé Kardashian and Travis Barker’s ex-partners were on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ while this season was filming

As series showrunner Danielle King noted in relation to Kim and Ye’s divorce in particular, “The Kardashians” doesn’t intentionally focus on stories that don’t directly touch its main cast. She asserted that it is the duty of the program to “catch what they wish to share.”

Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian’s ex-husband, and Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Travis Barker, who is not a main cast member but is now wed to Kourtney Kardashian, both made appearances on “Celebrity Big Brother” outside the bounds of the program. On the broadcast, Odom in particular made several remarks about Khloé, telling Insider that the producers were probing him about his ex-wife. Odom said he wanted to see Khloé again both on the show and in an interview with Insider.

Due to “miscommunications,” Travis Barker’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler said in an interview with Insider that she doesn’t communicate to Barker or his former fiancée Kourtney Kardashian. However, she said that she and Barker had “always” agreed to put their kids’ needs first.

‘The Kardashians’ sustained some backlash for not including Kim’s full comment about women in business

‘The Kardashians’ season two, episode four addressed the uproar after Kim’s remarks on women in business to Variety in March, but several viewers alleged that the show had purposefully edited out a portion of her statement, according to BuzzFeed News.

I can give women in business the best counsel, Kim told the outlet. “Get to work. Nowadays, it appears that nobody wants to work.”

Episode four of the season featured footage from the Variety interview, but some of her remarks were omitted, such as her statement that “it seems like nobody wants to work these days” and her counsel to avoid tox.ic work conditions.

Kardashian issued an apology for the remarks in March, telling ABC News that they had been misinterpreted.
