The mess in the dressing room is not the fault of the Manchester United players

Man United is displaying indications of instability both on and off the field and It's possible that coach Erik Ten Hag was unprepared for the storm to arrive so rapidly

Erik Ten Hag was informed that Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to quit the team even before officially holding Man Utd. He stayed out of the club’s trip of Australia and Thailand. After that, in the opening kick against Rayo Vallecano, CR7 had a disinterested demeanor.

Additionally, The Athletic recently revealed that Ronaldo spoke with Ten Hag during Devil’s training sessions when the Dutch tactician forced him to run excessively. When the M.E.N newspaper reported that several Man Utd players believed the former Ajax coach’s style was inappropriate for their abilities, the atmosphere between teachers and pupils at Man Utd became even more tense.

This was evident in the Brentford game as Ten Hag pressured Manchester United to develop the ball from the back. As a result, David De Gea, who struggled to play with his feet, delivered a ball that made it difficult for youngster Christian Eriksen, and ultimately, Man Utd suffered a “bitter” loss.

There is a perception that Ten Hag is in shock as a result of what is taking place at Old Trafford and that he is ill-equipped to handle it as a leader of such a significant organization.

When his “basis” in England is unstable, Ten Hag has an excessive amount of ambition. There were divisions in the Man Utd locker room prior to that. The “sectarian rift” between Portuguese-speaking athletes and non-speakers behind the scenes was reported by the British press last year.

Ten Hag arrived in Manchester at this time and persisted in his belief that “Dutch” will one day become the Red Devils. Malacia and Eriksen have come as part of Man Utd’s strategy (Eriksen previously played for Ajax). That is still nothing, though, in comparison to the “Portuguese group” speaking in the dressing room.

The assumption that they will now “turn on the teacher” is premature, but the displeasure is genuine. Forcing the players to play with three distinct tactical philosophies and three different levels of training intensity in a single year is a genuine task.

Ten Hag seems to be eager to start a revolution at Old Trafford. A team as sophisticated as Man Utd seldom has it easy. Not to mention, Ten Hag must keep in mind that it is far simpler to fire a coach than to bench a string of ten important players.

The red half of Manchester will face off against rival Liverpool soon. The captain of the Dutch team may need to make adjustments to personnel, including the starting lineup, as well as tactics.
