The unexpected response from Chelsea to the £70 million transaction

Defender for Leicester City Wesley Fofana is reportedly prepared to join Chelsea but has a significant obstacle

Fofana and Josko Gvardiol of RB Leipzig are the two center backs Chelsea is presently pursuing, according to Italian transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. Both young defenders are highly regarded, but Fofana is the preferred target due to his familiarity with the Premier League.

Prior to his March comeback, the 21-year-old had been sidelined for more than six months due to a fractured leg, but he quickly reclaimed his starting position at Leicester. In March, he also agreed to a five-year contract with Leicester, giving the Foxes a decisive advantage.

L’Equipe, a French daily, reported that the player would be willing to join Chelsea. According to reports, Fofana thinks that going to Chelsea to watch the Champions League will improve his chances of making the France team for the World Cup at the end of the year.

The youthful midfielder is not wanted to leave Leicester, though. They are rumored to reject any bid for Fofana under £70 million. Despite the high price, the Blues are still fighting.

Romano Fabrizio stated: “Wesley Fofana, according to Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers, is “not for sale.” Chelsea won’t give up just yet and will attempt to renegotiate with both Fofana and Gvardiol the following week. It’s all quite challenging.”

Milinkovic-Savic 2.0 was sought by Chelsea.

According to reports, Chelsea has spoken with Inter Milan and is putting together an offer for Cesare Casadei.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Cesare Casadei, a 19-year-old midfielder from Inter Milan, has been selected by Chelsea as a priority transfer target.

2018 saw Casadei transition from Cesena’s academy to Inter Milan’s youth group. He made 65 appearances for the under-19s after making a big impression with the Nerazzurri’s under-17 and under-18 teams. pitch thus far, tallying 24 goals while dishing out 7 assists.

Casadei, a central midfielder for Inter Milan, shown tremendous promise and shone for Italy’s junior teams. He has 12 appearances with the Azzurri U19s and 3 goals.

Despite not having yet played for the Inter Milan first team, Casadei has caught Chelsea’s interest with his ability to score goals from midfield. Romelu Lukaku was permitted to return to Inter on loan by the Blues, and throughout the term of this contract, negotiations to sign Casadei also took place.

According to the article, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has seen Casadei, whose playing style has been compared to that of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who the Blues are also interested in signing this summer.
