Three signatures must be acquired before the transfer window ends, according to Tuchel

In the foreseeable future, it's anticipated that the Stamford Bridge squad will continue to receive a few well-liked newcomers

Not surprisingly, Chelsea has been very active in the summer transfer market since resolving the situation at the club. There are now 5 excellent rookies at Stamford Bridge, including high-priced additions like Raheem Sterling and Marc Cucurella. However, there are no signs that the Blues’ team will stop improving.

Coach Thomas Tuchel wants to sign three new recruits before the summer transfer window ends, as reported by ESPN. It is well known that Tuchel is worried about Chelsea’s current depth of squad because they are simultaneously vying for the Premier League and the Champions League. He therefore intended to combine three additional crucial positions: striker, centre midfielder, and central defense.

More precisely, Wesley Fofana, Frenkie De Jong, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are the three players whose contracts the German strategist requested the Chelsea board to sign. Given that Leicester City wants more than £80 million for the midfielder, Fofana is likely to be the one of them that prompts the Blues to spend the most.

De Jong now wants to remain at Camp Nou, and numerous sources have claimed that if he had to leave, he would choose Chelsea above Manchester United. Aubameyang similarly still considers staying at Barcelona to be his first aim.

Chelsea’s £ 40 million bid was turned down.

The Blues are said to be in talks with the Toffees about signing the 21-year-old for £40 million. Everton are said to be hoping to raise the asking price to £50 million in order to allow Gordon to leave Goodison Park.

Gordon has started both of Everton’s Premier League games this season, filling in for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is out with a knee injury. Gordon has appeared in 51 Premier League games for Everton, scoring four goals.

According to Fabrizio Romano: “Chelsea are debating a new offer for Anthony Gordon after Everton rejected a £40 million bid today. Because of Frank, Chelsea may try to bring players into the deal. This summer, Lampard wants more than one Chelsea player.”

Graeme Souness of Sky Sports commented: “He can dribble and play fast enough. He’s dribbling easily for me, but that’s a lot of money for someone who’s only played 50 games. When you see him play, you won’t exclaim, “He’s going to be a top player!””

This summer, the new Chelsea owners spent a lot of money on Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, and Carney Chukwuemeka. Gabriel Slonina, a promising young goalkeeper, has been signed and will remain on loan with the Chicago Fire.
