Discover Tiger Woods’ £41m Florida home he didn’t know was so big until ‘putting crutches on’ while recovering from crαsh
The golf star, who is 47 years old, had to get emҽrgency surgery after a terrible car accidҽnt in California that broke his leg and ankle.
Before those, in his first news conference since the incident, he said that it was hard for him to get around in his huge mansion.
“I built a really nice house, but I didn’t realize how big it was until I started using crutches. “I’m getting better, but I still have a long way to go,” Woods said as a joke.
Woods also said that he had trouble getting around.
“It’s been a lot of hard work,” said the famous golfer.
“It was really hard to do nothing but lay there. I spent three months in a hospital bed.
“It’s hard to describe how hard it’s been to be unable to move for three months. I just wanted to get out of the house, that was my only goal.
“I couldn’t wait to get out of the house. At some point, they were able to wheel me out and I could feel the sun. That was a big step forward.”
STUNNING PROPERTY
The £41 million property is divided into two parts: a 3,300-square-foot house and a 6,400-square-foot building that can be used for many different things.
The latter has a world-class gym, a media room, a wine cellar, and a lift. It is a huge area.
Between the two buildings is a glass-covered walkway. There is also a guesthouse, a garage, and a big dock for his boats.
Woods, a father of two, can also chill out in his own oxygen treatment room, basement games room, or private movie theater.
In 2010, when he was getting divorced from his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, the house was being built.
Now he can spend time there with his girlfriend, Erica Herman, who fixed golf’s broken mind and helped him make one of the best comebacks in sports history.
His house is on Florida’s Jupiter Island, which is home to just under 900 people and is one of the best places to live in the area.
His restaurant, called “The Woods,” is just around the corner from his fancy home.
People like Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler have eaten there. It is called a “legendary sports bar experience.”
Woods hasn’t played since July, when he was hurt and had to drop out of the Open Championship.
He just said that he will be back in action at the Hero World Challenge next month.But because he was still having trouble with plantar fasciitis, he couldn’t play in the event.
