Fιghting with Barca, Liverpool flew to Spain to settle the ‘versatile machine’ deal

According to a story covered by Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool are prepared to agree a fee worth £22m(25m euros) to sign the youngster from Las Palmas.

The Catalan news source have mentioned that Barcelona were close to luring the teenage attacking midfielder in the summer.

They agreed to meet the asking price but in installments and the deal collapsed when the president asked for a fixed fee of £22m.

Moleiro is a versatile starlet, who naturally plays in the No. 10 role behind the striker but has also proved to be effective in the wide attacking positions.

In the current campaign, so far, the 19-year-old playmaker has set up 8 goals in 23 league starts for Las Palmas, who are currently on top of the Segunda Division with 12 games remaining.

His current contract with the Spanish side will expire in 2026, Mundo Deportivo claim the clause in the deal will rise to 60 million euros if the club is promoted to the La Liga.

However, if Las Palmas remain in the second division, then the asking price for Moleiro would still be around £22million.

In the past few transfer windows, Liverpool have actively reinforced their offense by luring players like Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Cody Gakpo. But Liverpool’s midfield has become old and needs alternatives for Henderson or James Milner

Liverpool want to sign Real Madrid winger who is a free agent at the end of the season

Liverpool want to sign Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio as they look for a player who has the ability to play in the number 10 position.

This comes from Football Transfers, who report that Asensio has caught the eye of the Reds, with the Spaniard a free agent at the end of this season.

They also state that Jurgen Klopp’s assistant Pep Lijnders is a big fan of the winger, with the Dutchman keen to incorporate the player into a “dual No.10 system“.

Asensio is said to be seen as a replacement for Brazilian Roberto Firmino, who announced last week that he will be leaving Anfield at the end of the season after eight years on Merseyside.

Marcus Rashford denies Man Utd surrendered in defeat to Liverpool

Man Utd star Marcus Rashford has denied claims that the Red Devils gave up in the 0-7 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.

MU is in high form recently, but they created a big shоck when they lost 0-7 at Liverpool’s field. This is the heaviest defeat in the history of the Red Devils. Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, Antony and Lisandro Martinez were all heavily criticized after the match.

Some said that MU had an attitude of giving up and giving up in the second half, helping Liverpool easily get goals. However, striker Marcus Rashford has denied this. Sharing before the match against Real Betis in the first leg of the 1/8 round of the Europa League, the English player said:

“We did not give up, we still fought in the second half. MU lost simply because the structure and organization of our play was broken. Without a good connection between the lines, the players did not have the usual cohesion. That’s why we conceded a goal.”

“The reality is that we tried to come back after the goals we conceded, but we couldn’t control the ball. Now we have to hurry back, the team still has many important games ahead. MU is fully focused on the match against Betis.”

There is an opinion that the defeat against Liverpool can affect the psychology of MU players, but Rashford denies it. “We’ve won a lot of games against Liverpool, but we’ve also lost a lot against them,” he added. It’s not like we’re haunted by the loss we just lost, the whole team will quickly forget about this defeat. We are still fιghting on all fronts and we still have a lot of games to play.”
