Blackpink’s Lisa Purchases Nearly $4 Million Home in Beverly Hills, California

Pop star Lisa of the South Korean girl group Blackpink has just scooped up a newly renovated Beverly Hills haven for $3.95 million.

The 27-year-old Thai rapper, singer and dancer, whose legal name is Lalisa Manobal, made her debut with Blackpink in 2016, and released her first solo hit album, “Lalisa,” in 2021, which led to a contract with RCA Records. She’ll make her acting debut next year in the HBO hit series “The White Lotus.” Property records show she closed on the California home in mid-March.

“It’s a magical property,” said Lori Harris of Keller Williams Los Feliz, who listed it with colleague Brock Harris and Farrah Brittany of the Agency. “Even though it’s a brand-new renovation, it has an old-world feel. You pull up in Beverly Hills, and you feel transported.”

She noted that at over 1.3 acres, it’s “quite private because of the enormous lot. It’s surrounded by hills and views.”

The seller, the Los Angeles-based design firm House of Rolison, bought the property in 2023 for $2.36 million, according to property records, and extensively renovated the 1924 house, transforming it into a spin on an English countryside manor.

House of Rolison incorporated many of the home’s original design elements, including iron sconces, a river rock fireplace, a plaster fireplace, multiple decks and a pathway up the hillside, into the design.

“It’s a very serene and peaceful space,” Harris said.

The 3,387-square-foot vine-covered house, which has four bedrooms, a clay tile roof, stone flooring and vaulted wood ceilings, is set in the hills of Coldwater Canyon, a peninsula that runs alongside the Santa Monica Mountains.

Manobal’s gated compound is set back from the street behind high hedges and is landscaped with olive trees and bushes. The grounds have a large wooden terrace with a pizza oven, and there’s room for a pool, which is in the house’s master plan.

“What’s special and rare about the team at House of Rolison is that they believe that what’s inside the walls matters,” Harris said. “They care about the structure, the not-seen parts of the house, including the pipes and the major systems. They make all their projects as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.”

Manobal,  who has won a number of accolades, became the first K-pop soloist to win an MTV Video Music Award and an MTV Europe Music Award. She did not immediately respond to an email request for comment.
