Discover Heat’ Jimmy Butler’s Rolex collection – From TAG Heuer Carreras and Patek Philippe Nautiluses to diamond-filled Rolexes

The small forward for the Miami Heat never does things halfway, and his latest wrist candy shows that.

Jimmy Butler is one of the best players in the NBA, but he doesn’t get much attention. Maybe it’s because he plays basketball in a boring, methodical way, or maybe it’s because he’s been unfairly labeled as a bad teammate…

His collection of watches is another thing that stays under the radar. NBA players have plenty of money, and many of the biggest names, like LeBron James, Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Anthony Davis, are watch guys. Butler also likes watches, but he isn’t usually part of that conversation.

It’s too bad, because he has one of the best and most interesting collections of watches in the NBA. Butler wears everything from TAG Heuer Carreras and Patek Philippe Nautiluses to diamond-filled Rolexes, like this rare Rolex GMT-Master II “Pepsi” (ref. 116758SA) that he was seen wearing at a press conference after game 6 of round 3 of the 2023 Eastern Conference finals against the Boston Celtics.

The 24-hour bezel on Butler’s “Pepsi” GMT watch is made of sapphires, rubies, and diamonds instead of the watch’s usual bi-colored ceramic. This makes the watch much more expensive and luxurious. It is made of 18ct yellow gold and has lugs that are paved with diamonds. It is worth an eye-popping $300,000 AUD.

As we mentioned above, it’s a “off-catalogue” Rolex, which means it’s a model that isn’t listed on Rolex’s website or sold in stores. This is a rare and exclusive watch that only Rolex’s most important customers (called “testimonees”) can buy or get (what the brand calls their ambassadors).

Off-catalogue Rolexes are usually the most luxurious and expensive ones that the brand makes. The Daytona “Eye of the Tiger,” which is also made of precious metal and studded with jewels, is the most famous off-catalogue Rolex. Butler also owns one of these watches.
