NBA legend Dwyane Wade has gone from working in a car wash as a summer job to owning an insane collection of vehicles.
The Miami Heat icon spent his first big NBA paycheck on a customized electric blue Escalade, which included 26-inch rims and spinners.

And such is Wade’s love of luxury cars that at one point he had over a dozen vehicles in his garage.
Wade’s car collection included a Mercedes Maybach that cost over $6,000 a month, as well as numerous McLarens, Ferraris and Porsches.
The three-time NBA champion has clearly come a long way since working in a car wash in Illinois to make extra money in the summer.
“One of my jobs in high school, I was a porter for a Bob Watson car company,” Wade told CNBC.
“So I would be the guy that once someone comes in and they buy a car, I had to wash it up, I had to get it nice for them.
“When you go past a car lot, you see all these cars parked nicely. I had to be the one to fit those cars into that little bitty space.”
Wade did not have a financial advisor when he joined the NBA and used his $190 million career earnings to live a lavish lifestyle.
But the NBA legend says the best financial advice he ever received was “to get rid of about 16 cars” he owned, per Men’s Health.
Wade whittled down his collection to just “a modest Audi Q8″ but he has since expanded his garage – and in some style.
Porsche 911 Cabriolet
Wade’s most famous car is arguably his Porsche 911 Cabriolet.
He and his former Heat teammate LeBron James famously had matching Porsche 911s which were dubbed their Batman and Robin cars.

Wade is a huge fan of Porsche – he also had a Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
Earlier this month, Wade showcased his $198,500 Porsche 911 Turbo on social media.
“It’s Porsche not Pors,” Wade captioned the image.
Mercedes-Maybach S 580
In 2022, Wade treated himself to a brand-new Mercedes-Maybach S 580 for his 40th birthday.
The car was customized by Omar McGee, the owner of Posh Luxury Imports.

“When @dwyanewade calls and requests a rare Maybach purchase with Sienna ‘basketball’ interior, and expressed to me that no one was able to find, my reply was ‘I got you!’ with results in 24 hours,” McGee wrote.
“Happy Birthday to one of the best to ever play the game! It was an honor.”
The Mercedes-Maybach retails for around $225,000.
1974 Ford Bronco
In 2020, Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union surprised the NBA star with a 1974 Ford Bronco for Father’s Day.
Wade shared a clip of his new car and wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to Meeeeee!!!!

“I mentioned years ago that when I moved to LA I would love a Bronco!!
“Well the wife was listening. Thank you @gabunion you did that!!!!!’
The heavily modified SUV has a creamy white exterior and a burnt orange interior.
1988 Mercedes-Benz SL
Wade’s Hollywood actress wife followed up the Ford Bronco by buying the NBA star a 1988 Mercedes-Benz SL for his 39th birthday in 2021.
The vintage convertible has a crisp white exterior and a light brown leather interior.

Right after he took delivery of the car, Wade took his daughter Zaya for a ride in it for a “father-daughter date.”
Wade said Union “raised the bar” with the birthday gift.
“Damn, OK,” he said in the clip before dancing alongside the vehicle.
“Damn, baby, this is nice!”

Ferrari GTC4Lusso
In 2017, Wade taught his then 15-year-old son Zaire to drive in a $270,000 Ferrari GTC4Lusso.
Zaire could be seen on Wade’s Snapchat, sitting in the driver’s seat of the bright red luxury sports car.

“I’m a little nervous,” Zaire said.
“A little nervous but it’s all good,” his dad responded.
“You getting it. Who wouldn’t be nervous? You see what he driving.”
Wade also has a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta in his collection.
Hummer H2 SUT
As well as a fleet of supercars, Wade also owns a Hummer H2 SUT.
Wade showed off his Hummer at the Third Annual General Motors All-Car Showdown at Paramount Studios in 2006.
