Jalen Hood-Schifino’s tattoo

Unbelievable: Even Before He Was A Laker, Jalen Hood-Schifino Had A Lakers Tattoo

Sometimes, things happen in strange ways. The Los Angeles Lakers picked Jalen Hood-Schifino in this week’s NBA Draft, which made the young guard very happy. He was going to live out his dream of becoming an NBA player, and as a kid, his best player was the late Kobe Bryant, who was a legend for the Lakers.

Hood-Schifino talked about this after he was chosen, and he said that he has a tattoo of the former Laker. The news comes from Dan Woike of The Los Angeles Times:

“Even though the Celtics wore green, there was no doubt that he was happy to join the Lakers,” Woike writes. “A picture of Kobe Bryant is inked on his arm.”

Even though green was his favorite color, it seems like this was meant to be. Strange things like this happen for a reason, and Hood-Schifino will now get to wear the purple and gold that he grew up watching. He liked Bryant a lot, like a lot of other people, but not everyone can wear the Laker shirt. Putting on that shirt is a big deal, and he will get to do it this fall.

He went on to talk about how much Bryant meant to him and how he used to watch the Lakers as a kid, so this was a very important time for him.

“It’s crαzy and hard to explain how I feel because I was a big Kobe fan when I was younger. Hood-Schifino said, “I would always watch his videos and watch the Lakers.” “It’s kind of crαzy and hard to believe that the Lakers picked me.”

Fans of the Laker team must already like this kid. Not only will he probably help them win next season, but it also means something to talk about Bryant. It shows that he knows how important it is to be a Laker and how important Bryant is to the city of Los Angeles. His movie already says a lot, so this is just a treat.

When summer league starts here in a few weeks, Hood-Schifino should be fun to watch. He should give the Lakers a big, flexible point guard, which is something they didn’t have last year. And he should be a good spark for them when he comes off the bench. Los Angeles made a great choice, and I can’t wait to see him play.
