Jay-Z’s Diamond-Studded Jacob & Co. Watch Sold for $1.5 Million at Auction

Jay-Z has recently parted ways with one of the watches from his remarkable collection. The diamond-encrusted Jacob & Co. timepiece was sold for a whopping $1.5 million at a celebrity-filled casino night and auction organized by Hov himself to support his Reform Alliance charity.

The event took place at Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort on October 2, with comedian Kevin Hart hosting the glamorous gathering. Reportedly, the event raised $24 million for the organization, which assists formerly incarcerated individuals in reintegrating into society and finding employment. While the extravagant wristwatch stole the spotlight, the event also saw the presence of over 250 VIPs, including Tom Brady and Kim Kardashian.

Named the Caviar Tourbillon World Timer, Jay-Z’s former 47.5 mm timepiece is crafted from 18-carat white gold and adorned with a stunning array of 204 baguette diamonds on its dial. For those with an insatiable appetite for extravagance, an additional 294 baguettes embellish its bezel, case, and bracelet.

Alongside the manual-winding tourbillon, the watch features three world timers displaying city names such as Los Angeles, Geneva, and Dubai. With an impressive 120-hour power reserve, the timepiece reveals its multi-color “Rainbow” tourbillon movement through an exhibition caseback. The luxurious navy-blue strap completes its sophisticated aesthetic.

As of now, the buyer of the watch remains undisclosed, but given the event’s high-profile guest list, they are likely a noteworthy individual.

Among those present were not only Jay-Z but also other founding board members of the Reform Alliance, including Michael Rubin, Meek Mill, Clara Wu Tsai, Mike Novogratz, and Reform CEO Robert Ross. Additionally, stars such as Matthew McConaughey, Tiffany Haddish, Alex Rodriguez, Lil Kim, Travis Scott, LaLa Anthony, and Jack Harlow graced the event with their presence.

Rappers Fabolous and French Montana hit the stage in black-tie attire as entertainment for the night. Jay-Z didn’t grab the mic to follow their act, but the “Empire State of Mind” rapper’s black graphic-print blazer made enough of a statement without an accompanying performance.
