Heat’s Tyler Herro makes cryptic Twitter change as Damian Lillard trade rυmors swirl

Tyler Herro did more to fuel rυmors that he might be traded away from the Heat.

Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers was said to have asked for a trade and wanted to be sent to Miami. After hearing this, Herro seemed to remove his present team from his Twitter bio completely.

It said “Miami Heat guard” and had a picture of him shooting at the practice center for the team as the header.

As of Saturday afternoon, neither one was there anymore.

Herro, who is 23 years old, is likely to be one of the most important parts of any deal Miami makes to get Lillard.

Last season, Herro missed most of the Heat’s run to the NBA Finals because he hurt his right hand in the team’s first playoff game.

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald says that the Trail Blazers are “exploring” the idea of finding a third team to help make the deal happen.

Chris Haynes of TNT and Bleacher Report, who knows Lillard better than anyone else in the media, has said that the Blazers’ star is Jimmy Butler and the team’s No. 1 target, and that a deal with the great guard going to Miami would almost certainly involve a third team.

Tyler Herro took “Miami Heat guard” out of his bio and changed the picture at the top of his page.twitter.com/JxwRAYbG8V There is still some doubt about whether or not Lillard will end up in Miami.

Shams Charania of The Athletic wrote on Saturday that Lillard’s trade request was made to the Heat. Sam Amick of The Athletic told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Lillard wants this to be a “Miami or bust” situation, but the Blazers are adamant that it won’t be like that.
