Rapper Eminem celebrated his lavish retirement inside a massive estate

Rap legend Eminem treated himself to luxurious retirement life inside giant mansion

MI – OAKLAND TOWNSHIP Recently listed on the market is one of Michigan’s grandest houses. Eminem himself used to be the owner of this property.

According to selling agent Kyle Matta with Century 21 Sakmar and Associates, Eminem bought the Oakland Township mansion at 5760 Winkler Mill Road from the CEO of Kmart in 2003 and resided there until he sold it in 2017.

Here, there are six bedrooms and ten bathrooms spread across 17,000 square feet of space. According to Matta, this property boasts a resort-like atmosphere.

Matta told MLive, “It looks like the entrance where you’d drop off your suitcases and people would come out and take them from you when you go through the gates and pull up to this house.”

The nearly six acres of property outside are private walking pathways. There is also a hot tub, cabana, pool with a waterfall feature, and tennis/basketball court available. There’s even a private pond with many fountains.

Inside, the dining room and pool area include custom woodwork. With a main bedroom 1,600 square feet larger than many homes and an office with views of the property’s grounds, each bedroom is a themed suite.

“It has a balcony where you can step outside and look out over the tennis and basketball court, as well as the pool and waterfall—I call it the oasis.”

The kitchen is a two-story space with unusually high 20-foot ceilings. It also features an atrium that passes through the upper part of it.

Matta claims that because the property backs up to Stoney Creek Metropark, where no structures are allowed, it is solitary and remote. The property is fully fenced in and features a 2,000 square foot guest house.
