What says getting married style has to cost a lot of money?
Olympian dancer Simone Biles announced her engagement to Houston Texans player Jonathan Owens on Saturday. She shared some beautiful photos from the couple’s courthouse wedding on Instagram and talked about how she wore surprisingly cheap wedding clothes.
She put “officially owens” and two white heart emojis under a set of photos by RaeTay Photography that said “I do.”
Biles, 26, wears a plunging white dress with four layers of flowers in the pictures. She said on her Instagram Story that the beautiful dress was from the online store Selfie Leslie and costs just $120.
A friend asked her, “Where did you get your dress and shoes?” and she told them all about it. —and it turned out that the look was a perfect last-minute find.
Biles said, “everything was ordered this week.” “Wedding bands. Dress. flowers and shoes.”
The talented gymnast both said that her dress was from Selfie Leslie and that she had to switch shoes after saying “I do.”
She joked on her Story, “I have short toddler feet,” and said, “My courthouse shoes were from Amazon. Not comfortable at all.”

The bride-to-be was very thrifty, so she wore a pair of PrettyLittleThing Wide-Fit Sandals that she laced up the ankle and gave them a “OK” sign.
Owens, 27, proposed to Biles on Valentine’s Day last year with a 3-carat oval-cut diamond engagement ring. For the big day, she wore her hair in a curly high ponytail and wore drop earrings and a pendant necklace that matched.

Before her and Owens’ destination wedding “in a couple of weeks,” Biles said she had to get officially married in the U.S. She also said there would be more fun with bridal fashion.
Last year, Biles said “yes” to two Galia Lahav dresses. But when a fan asked, “How many more dresses are we going to see?” Biles said she was going to wear a huge four outfits.
She said, “Kind of dramatic, but you only get married once.”
