Stephen Curry sells luxurious Spanish-style home

Ayesha and Stephen Curry are selling their luxurious Spanish-style home in Orinda, California for $3.895 million, according to the listing agents Andy Read and Ana O’Byrne of Coldwell Banker. The couple had purchased the five-bedroom, four-bathroom house in 2013 for $3.1 million.

The 4,700-square-foot house is located about an hour from San Francisco and features a basketball hoop in the driveway, vaulted ceilings, a red-tiled roof, tiled patios and balconies, a swimming pool, and a dumbwaiter to transport food between floors.

The luxury home also features a three-car garage, a fireplace, two private balconies, a walk-in closet with handmade built-ins, and a bathroom with a Victoria and Albert limestone tub. After buying the house, the couple renovated the kitchen and added an outdoor kitchen and a heated eating area. In addition, the house has its own Syrah orchard and putting green.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the Currys are moving to a bigger home in Walnut Creek that they bought for $3.2 million in 2015. Stephen Curry recently became the first unanimous winner of the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award. This is a feat that NBA greats like Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James have never accomplished.
