Stephen Curry Talks About How He and His Wife Ayesha Share a Closet: ‘She Has More Room’

Stephen Curry is being honest about the fαct that he and his wife Ayesha Curry share a wardrobe.

“That closet has more space for her,” Steph, 35, told PEOPLE in a recent interview for his Rakuten Partnership, which supports Black designers during the 2024 NBA season. “I’m probably more organised or more OCD about it being clean on my side.”

“That’s kind of the back and forth,” he says. “Because of how my wardrobe looks, I think I put some daily pressure on her.” I have to work hard to keep up with her style, though, because she pretty much does it every day.

Stephen and Ayesha met for the first time at church in North Carolina when they were teens. They had their first child, a girl named Riley, a year after getting married in June 2011. Their family grew again when they had a son in 2018 and a second girl in 2015, named Ryan.

Ayesha talked about becoming a mother for the first time at a young age in May 2021. She said it was hard to figure out her job while raising her kids. After starting a food blog that turned into an empire with restaurants, cookbooks, and a TV show, she finally found what she loved doing.

The nine-time NBA All-Star Stephen has done a great job of balancing his busy work with being a dad, even though he has said that his kids aren’t too impressed with his basketball skills.

It doesn’t matter to them how many times the ball goes in the basket, he said, adding that “at home, you’re just dad, and that’s the best part about it.”

Since it was his wife’s 12th wedding anniversary in July, the NBA star shared a lot of pictures from his sunny vacation on Instagram.

The carousel post had pictures of the famous NBA couple relaxing on boat decks and posing on beautiful beaches. But the most touching part is the public love letter that Steph wrote for Ayesha in the description.

“My Girl.” You have no idea how much I love you. I’m grateful for all the things we’ve done together. “Life’s ups and downs have brought us closer together,” the star for the Golden State Warriors said. “God keeps blessing us. From the beginning, you have brought me so much joy and happiness.
