Take a tour Fred McGriff’s $2.45M Tampa mansion

Fred McGriff, a former Rays slugger, has finally sold his sizable Tampa home for a cool $2.45 million. The 11,768-square-foot home, which is situated in the gated Avila neighborhood near the golf course, has been on and off the market since 2014, but on May 15 it was finally sold to an unidentified purchaser. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom house, which also has a game room, gym, and four-car garage, was initially built especially for the five-time All Star back in the 1990s. McGriff attended Tampa’s Jefferson High School and was a member of the initial Tampa Bay Devil Rays lineup.
