The frank farewell letter Stephen Curry left for Jordan Poole

Stephen Curry used social media to farewell his former Golden State Warriors colleague Jordan Poole.

Poole played a significant role in the 2022 title run. Poole was originally on the San Antonio Spurs but was moved to the Washington Wizards after a heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the conference playoffs. Curry took the opportunity to reflect on Poole’s time with the Warriors and express gratitude for his departure.

Now that the trade is official, Curry felt compҽlled to publicly express his gratitude to JP for the four years they spent together. You have won this round. You matured in front of everyone’s eyes from your first year on the team (difficult, lots of injuries, trying to find your way) to your second year (you went to the G-League and helped us finish 15-5 down the stretch), to your third year (we won a championship) to this past year (you fought until the very end).

I’m excited to watch you develop into a fine young man. I’m excited to see you succeed on your own terms. I’m just a fan of everything you do and am looking forward to fιghting against you. I hope the best for you.

Curry not only expressed his appreciation to Poole, but also to the other player acquired in the trade, Chris Paul.

“CP, I’m psyched to jam with you in the future. Now that we’re on the same side, things will be different. Go for it, guys! Let’s do this, Curry urged.

Stephen Curry sells luxurious Spanish-style home

According to listing agents Andy Read and Ana O’Byrne of Coldwell Banker, Ayesha and Stephen Curry are asking $3.895 million for their lavish Spanish-style home in Orinda, California. The $3.1 million home with five bedrooms and four bathrooms was purchased by the couple in 2013.

The 4,700-square-foot home is situated about an hour outside of San Francisco, and it has amenities like a basketball hoop in the driveway, tiled patios and balconies, a swimming pool, and a dumbwaiter to carry meals between floors.

The walk-in closet in the master bedroom has custom-made built-ins, and the bathroom has a Victoria and Albert limestone tub. The home also has a fireplace, two private balconies, a three-car garage, and a walk-in closet. After purchasing the property, the couple upgraded the kitchen and installed an outside cooking space and warming area. The property even features its own putting green and Syrah orchard.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the Currys have purchased a $3.2 million mansion in Walnut Creek. Recently, Stephen Curry made history by being the first player to win the NBA MVP award with 100% of the vote. Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James, all legends of the NBA, have never done this.
