Here in this new space, the Kelce youngsters are cuddled up.
One of the most treasured areas in their Pennsylvania home is the lovely playroom that Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce designed for their four-year-old children Wyatt, Elliotte, two, and Bennett, eleven months.
The Kelces worked with Pottery Barn Kids to remodel the hub. It now includes an art easel ($229) and a mint green toddler play kitchen ($499) with a farmhouse sink, refrigerator, and burner for pretend cooking sessions.
“Family is everything,” Kylie said in a video that showed off the playroom. “It’s really important to have this space feel cozy and comfortable.”
It goes without saying that Kylie, who married the NFL player in 2018, values “kid durable” décor in their trailer.
also in terms of aesthetics? She added, “Shockingly enough, we are big fans of green,” giving a nod to her husband’s team color. She updated the little kitchen with an accent wall, a massive tree-print ($499–$799) for the girls to play on, and a “beautiful sage” shade.
The room had to have enough shelving and storage to hold multiple stories.
Adding, “Our family has always been a book club,” Kylie said. “We started reading to my belly when Wyatt was still in there.”
Like the girl parent he is, Jason has already broken in the Green Toys tea set ($39) with his kids. Clearly, tea parties are only one of his methods to kill time in the off-season. (In the meantime, his brother Travis Kelce is working hard to prepare to play in the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. His girlfriend Taylor Swift encouraged him to win against the Baltimore Ravens on January 28.)
Jason’s NFL career may hinge on a decision he makes during a game as to whether or not to play one more season and hang up his Eagles uniform for good. He is thirty-six years old.
He said earlier this month on this New Heights radio show, “When it comes time to formally announce what’s happening in the future, it will be done in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had.”
