Usher described experiencing some ‘quite intense’ situations during his time living at rapper Diddy (birth name Sean Love Combs)’s New York mansion when he was just 14 years old. Following Homeland Security agents’ raids on the music mogul’s Holmby Hills and Miami residences as part of an ongoing trafficking investigation this week, social media users resurfaced a 2016 interview where Usher discussed his stay with the superstar, then 54 years old, in the spring of 1994.
During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the 45-year-old Yeah! hitmaker alleged that it was LA Reid’s suggestion for him to reside with the R&B singer in Scarsdale to ‘experience the lifestyle.’ When questioned by Stern if Diddy’s residence was ‘filled with women,’ Usher responded: ‘Not exactly… I had the opportunity to witness certain things… I’m not sure if I could partake or fully comprehend what I was witnessing.’
Diddy was reportedly questioned by Customs agents at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport – about 15 miles south of the investigation at his home – at around 6pm local time.
