What We Know About Anthony Davis’ ιnjury Going Into Tonight’s Lakers-Suns Game

The Los Angeles Lakers will play the Phoenix Suns in Arizona on a Friday night.     

Anthony Davis, one of their top players, is questionable to play in the game.   

Davis is shooting 55.3% from the field and 42.9% from outside the arc while averaging 23.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals, and 3.3 blocks per game in six contests.

After eight games, the Lakers have a 3-5 record and are now mired in a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, they were defeated 128-94 by the Houston Rockets in Texas (Davis did not play).  

The Lakers have yet to win a game when traveling outside of Southern California. 

Davis is entering his fifth season with the Lakers, and his previous campaign saw him shoot 56.3% from the field and average 25.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.0 blocks in 56 games.  

The Suns will be the last of a four-game road trip for the Lakers, and they will return home to face off against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. 

The Suns have split their first eight games, going 4-4 thus far. Their most recent win was a 116-115 overtime decision against the Chicago Bulls.
